Presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday said Republicans should give President Barack Obama another term if Santorum isn't the GOP nominee and for a second day compared rival Mitt Romney to an Etch A Sketch toy.
Santorum reiterated an argument he has made before: The former Massachusetts governor is not conservative enough to offer voters a clear choice in the fall election and that only he can provide that contrast.
"You win by giving people a choice," Santorum said during a campaign stop in Texas....

I’d rather have Romney over Obama, but it really makes no difference. I’m just tired of that arrogant Muslim-in-the-closet. Might as well go with a guy from a religion which boasts Donny Osmond rather than the “rage boy” terrorist.

Santorum has lost it. If he had said that Romney as the candidate would result in Obozo winning, that would be one thing. But to make the comment that HE should be the GOP candidate or people should just go ahead and vote for Obozo is narcissistic and stupid. Hmmmm. Two traits which Obozo demonstrates on a regular basis.
If this race ends up being Obama vs. Santorum, we might as well call it “Dueling Messiah Complexes.”

Santorum just removed himself from any consideration. No doubt the process is long, tiring and stressful but it does vet the candidate. Santorum just showed the type of judgement that precludes him from being the Republican nominee.

Gingrich already stated he disagrees with Santorum and would vote for Romney over Obama. He made it clear he has fundamental disagreements with Romney on many issues, but Newt apparently feels President Obama is far, far worse.
