Afraid Obama will be reelected? Here's a word of Encouragement (Vanity)
Vanity | March23, 2012 | no dems

Posted on 03/23/2012 2:51:11 AM PDT by no dems

If there ever was a President who deceived his way into office and deserves to be defeated, it's the current occupant of the White House. But, the GOP has done it again. They've given us a horrible slate of candidates to choose from at a time in our nation's history like no other. "March Madness" has brought us the GOP's Final Four: Kook-Daddy and the Three Stooges. There is little enthusiasm for any of them; causing many to fear that Obama will end up pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. Well, let me try and encourage you with regard to that.

Yes, what we thought would be a slam dunk defeat for Obama on November 6, 2012 does not seem as likely as it did six months ago. If Obama should win, take heart. It is very likely that the GOP will hold onto it's Majority in the House and re-take control of the Senate. Those two scenarios, at this point in time, are almost a "given". That would, virtually, paralyze an Obama second-term. He would be a do-nothing President except for having veto power. Even his authority to appoint Supreme Court Justices and Federal judges would be greatly hampered by non-approval by the Senate. This nation will continue to go to hell in a hand basket because of his veto power. And, we must admit, America will deserve what she gets by allowing this Marxist to be reelected. But, by the time 2016 arrives, if we still have a nation, he will be the most hated man in America and the Democratic Party will be set back 20 years. But, if we have become a Third World Nation by then, well, once again; a stupid, entitlement crazed, American electorate will deserve what they get. At least those of us who tried will know we did our best to save this great Republic. And, personally, I for one will get some satisfaction, and vindication, out of seeing those who reelected Barack Hussein Obama suffer. He who does not like vengeance has never tasted it. And before you criticize me, please understand: This attitude is the only thing that keeps me from taking years off my life by being angry and worrying over this Election. Now, peace out!

'But'. 'If'.

I'm not encouraged.

"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Obama is pRes_ _ent ONLY because of Backstabber Romney.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

That would be a consolation if it were true, but it is not.

The GOP should be up in arms right now , but they are not. Wasn’t it the GOP who gave him power to raise the debt limit without going back to the Congress?

The GOP will be so busy screwing up like they did the last time they had power they won’t bother Bracko bama in the least.Isn’t it the GOP who wants us to back a White Obama?

We have one party with two factions, not a two party system any longer.

“Hate to burst your bubble but the Marxist will just set a record for Executive orders and His regulation Czar Cass Sunstein will just regulate oppression on all of us.”

I absolutely agree with you. Your statement was worth repeating!

“We deserve what we get and I hope every person who voted for Obama suffers the most and ends up sharing cardboard beds under an overpass.”

Many who voted for him are already paying the price; with the exception of government workers that were able to keep their jobs, every other demographic is worse off than before. The permanent underclass has had their personal subsidies reduced by de fato unreported inflation, and the private sector dupes who supported him are watching their standard of living fall to meet that of the rising middle class of Red China (which is still far from enviable). Private ownership of homes (and increasingly even cars) is a thing of the past, as are families with children.

I think he’ll have a very difficult time getting re-elected.

Listen, I’m not giving up here, however, I am a realist. We are so screwed if he gets re-elected. “Executive orders”. With our do nothing congress and spineless Boner at the helm, I have no love for ourside at the moment. Let alone a golden opportunity that has been squandered again for the “can’t we all just get along crowd”. Make no mistake, I WILL vote for the nominee, since it is the last chance I have to hold my household together and buy me time to get further prepared. I am the breadwinner now, and try to keep this ship afloat while my husband trys to find a job. What a way to stare at our golden years not far ahead of us. I am so pissed, but will keep it together for the sake of my family. I do appreciate your trying to give a bright spot, just hard to swallow right now.

Yes, the brakes will be off for sure if he is re-elected.

Once he is no longer concerned about being re-elected, he will really step on the accelerator towards his version of utopia.

Congress won’t hold him back much, even with a Repub majority.

Well, the main issue is the reelection of 0bama guarantees the solidification of Obamacare. 0bama will also sidestep Congress with a plethora of executive orders, against which Boehner and McConnell will offer no resistance.

Also, sometime during the next four years, very likely one of the SCOTUS justices .. probably from the conservative faction .. will die or retire. Do you really have confidence a McConnell-led Senate will successfully maintain a filibuster vs. a Kagan clone nominee to replace Antonin Scalia? I don`t.. not in the least.

VOTE OUT THE OBOZO! NOT JUST VOTE AGAINST HIM BUT VOTE HIM OUT!
Think of his zcars, exec orders, civilian armies, union thugs, chicago mobs, dumb obots, leaching parasites, his non-stop wasting our money, non-stop giving away our money to the terrorists to kill us, his non-stop job-killing moves; the non-stop lies, the smirk, the big-a** last lady telling you what to eat.... the soldiers he sent to be killed.....and pull the trigger for the one who can defeat him!

OMG - obama must go!
Everyone goes to vote for the one who can defeat him! Massive voter turnout is what it takes! Fight the war strategically, at the right time!

I also see the country struggling along for the next 4 years, barely keeping above water, with Obama and co claiming everything is okay and getting better, until he’s out of office and can claim to have gotten us through it.

Then the whole thing blows up on the next administration...

“The greatest consolation I will have if the current occupant of the White House is reelected, is that a GOP Senate and House will make life hell for him for four years.”

You’re kidding, right? This is the same House and Senate that would be led by those two “conservative firebrands” Boehner and Mumbles McConnell?

If reelected Obama will continue his dictatorial rule by executive orders and runaway regulators. Even with majorities in the House and Senate the GOP Rino leadership will do little or nothing to check such unconstitutional excesses and will serve simply as the court eunuchs to Emperor Obama. Can you imagine the likes of John Boehner moving articles of impeachment even if there were incontrovertible evidence that Obama was born in Kenya or openly committed treason let alone was guilty of simple high crimes and misdemeanors?

Ugly as it sounds, don’t you mean bend over forward for him? This guy gets a pass on anything he does with no fear of consequence. Calling your congresscritter doesn’t seem to make a bit of difference either.

Who was the last Supreme Court justice appointed by a ‘rat president that a GOP Senate refused to confirm?

“He would be a do-nothing President except for having veto power.”

The Legistlative branch of the government would become nearly extinct. The machinations are in place; he would rule through his czars and various cabinet departments: Justice, Energy, Education, Homeland Security, Defense, and whatever's left of HHS after the SCOTUS ruling on the Obamacare law.

If the Congressional GOP had any balls, they'd challenge him at every turn, issuing subpeonas, raising impeachment hearings, and calling out every misstep. But, we all know they're afraid of their shadows, and they'll be willing to deal, just to get a little seed money back in their districts.
