Exactly. She’s an “activist” like Obama.
She never cared remotely about the truth of what she was spouting.
This is her dream come true.
Or she can become a media whore/presstitute!
And yet, mattress train changed their name to” Mattress Stain” and hired Fluke as their spoke person.
“Sandra Fluke Says She Didn’t Know Target Sells Birth Control Pills for $9”
And now you know. And knowing is half the battle.
House
Crossing your legs is free.
Just think, little professional (student) Fluck could have used an extremely cheap product to prevent pregnancy: what works is placing an asprin between your knees.
Miz Fluck is 30-years-old. What has she been doing since receiving her undergrad degree in sexuality?
The answer has to be: extensive study first hand.
She has to be a tramp easily used by her clients and the DemocRAT Party.
Not good enough -- doesn't get much coverage, but apparently birth control pills are not good for the environment: Google: birth control pill evironment.
I guess she's not interested in saving the earth either! ;-)
“said Fluke. Its not one-size-fits-all, “
Yes it is and that is exactly what she is advocating. Forcing me into the same policy as the one she desires requires a ONE SIZE FITS ALL policy.
Liberalism is certainly a mental disorder.
Anyone know the name(s)of these magical contraception pills that cost #3,000 per year?
My daughter has a medical condition that requires birth control to regulate her cycle. It isn’t a lifestyle choice, it is a medical need.
My insurance company picks up the bill as it is diagnosed by a doctor.
Now, if this was the explanation given by Fluke about her friend, I don’t think any organzization’s health insurance would have a problem with this.
This should have been the narrative from the right. However, they let Fluke’s reproductive rights narrative move to the forefront and used someone’s medical condition as a way to give free birth control to those who want it, not those who need it.
Just spent the last 5-10 minutes trying to find it through internet searches and on target’s own website. I could not find any reference to Target selling it for $9, other than the stories specifically about Fluke and this case.
People like this women are so provincial in their thinking. Because they are fortunate to live in a country where medical choice is so abundant, and healthcare knowledge and innovation are still first-rate, they simply believe it should be afforded to them.
But consider if this woman lived in a remote village in Africa, or South America, or even some Russian or Indian hell-hole. Would she have the same healthcare choices? Would she be able to demand exotic medicines and tailored therapies? She most certainly would not. She'd be lucky to have a leak-proof condom to offer her partner. Most likely, if she didn't want to become pregnant, she wouldn't have sex.
Just because something exists (healthcare), doesn't mean you can demand it as a right.
“For a lot of students who, like me, are on public interest scholarships, thats practically an entire summers salary,”
If the cost of GU is as I have been hearing, then that means that this scholarhsip is funding $40K or to be more precise, Sandra is getting paid $40K tax free. That is equal to her earning a salary of $60K a year....
Your on the right track but I think the math goes this way.
28years * 12 months * 9.00 = 3024.
She is already 31 or so which probably means she has another 16 year of Partying. Umm Classes to attend.
All on someone else dime.
