Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is the latest celebrity to publicly come out in support of Trayvon Martin.
Wade posted the picture above on his Twitter page on Friday and made it his avatar as well.
Along with the picture, Wade added the hashtags: #hoodies, #stereotype and #trayvonmartin.
Several other actors and sports stars are posting pictures of themselves in hoodies in honor of the Miami Gardens teenager.

In Detroit a black 80 some year old WWII vet was beaten and his car stolen with him being left to crawl across the parking lot as bystanders walked on by on MLK day.

The one thing we do know is that Trayvon was a thug and had no business stalking Mr. Zimmerman’s neighborhood that night wearing a hoodie.
40 people were shot in Chicago last weekend. One a 5 year old girl. Guess the shooters were not white enough.
What else is new?
All of these people are up in arms because of sensationilism disguised as journalism. No one really knows for sure what happened. But they all want to string up Zimmerman without charges being filed or an actual trial.
In our system of justice, we are innocent until proven guilty. Yet so many want to suspend that concept for Mr. Zimnerman. So if we do, then what? Who will be next? You or someone close to you? Are we going to start banging on doors at midnight, dragging people away without charge simply because we don’t like them?
We are coming dangerously close to having this great nation turn into a banana republic. Or Nazi Germany. Wake up, people!
No, what we KNOW from the 911 tapes is that Zimmerman was being badly beaten. We also know that he probably should not have been chasing Trayvon, but wouldn’t Zimmerman have the right to defend himself when he’s being beaten?

A 13-year-old boy who police say was doused with gasoline and lit on fire last week while walking home from school...
Police have described the suspects as black 16-year-olds, while the victim is white.

The screams are Zimmerman getting his face and head beat in, which can easily result in a coma or death. He screamed for help before reaching for his gun. I remember a case of road rage in Arizona a few years ago. A huge bodybuilder got out of his truck with an axe handle. The other motorist pulled out his pistol and shot him in the head. No charges were filed as he reasonably felt his life was in danger.

I heard on talk radio that this Trayvon character had quite a rap sheet including a restraining order by a girlfriend and interfering with a police officer.
