WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich calls the shooting death of a black Florida teen "a tragedy" and describes the man responsible as "a guy who'd found a hobby that's very dangerous."
George Zimmerman was part of a neighborhood watch group.

If you’re referring to gun ownership, I’ve never seen a single unsafe gun owner at any range I’ve ever been to, and you’d be careful with your words lest you incite the ire of a few million gun owners in this country.

Pretend LEO? You mean neighborhood watch? Like in the common law neighborhood watches that kept the peace and raise the alarm for the last thousand years?
And by LEO, you mean the corporate police that stand by when someone is drowning because it's not in the statutes to save them?
Tellya what - get rid of your guns. They make your LEOs nervous, because you're just a civilian. And if you look it up, you will find that a huge number of police chiefs are anti-gun. You gonna argue with them, or play pretend LEO?

You got that right man. Neighborhood watches arise because concerned citizens care about their neighborhoods. And as far as Sanford Florida goes. Well let’s just say that the last time I HAD to go there I saw guys running out into the streets to stop cars and offer to sell them drugs. And in broad daylight too.
I’m totally grateful to be long gone from that area.
