Just moments ago on the Sean Hannity radio show, GOP candidate and RINO Rick Santorum took it upon himself to convict George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin case. He said, and I’m paraphrasing slightly:
It was a heinous crime and he did a despicable, unjustifiable thing and the Sanford police should have reacted to that immediately.
Again, I am paraphrasing a little as I did not have a recorder running to get his exact words, but that was essentially his statement.

Yes, the fruit in his life is what I look for also (PCA member). We cannot know the heart, but Newt seems redeemed. After all look at what John Newton and Paul and the thief on the cross did and Jesus saved them all.

I agree, Santorum and every other so called “conservative” are humiliating themselves, and betraying honest prinsables by condemning this man. We know nothing, all we have is what the leftist media has been feeding us in their campaign against gun rights..

What makes you so certain that Rick or Romney hasn’t commited adultery ? Not voting for Newt because he has been married a couple times doesn’t make a lot of sense. So you would vote for Marx over Newt because Newt repented of all sin. I’m a christian and I actually believe what the bible says about forgiveness.
Peter lied about Christ, David commited adultery, Abraham I believe lied about his wife, saying she was his sister. Moses commited murder. Get the picture, people are born in sin and God sent Jesus to deliver us. I’m not condoning sin, but if a guy has recieved that forgiveness God made available good for him and us.
If you had several devils cast out of you there is a good possibility you were commiting sin. Devils don’t help you to live right.

It doesn't matter that I think his personal out-of-control habits are problematic. Why do you think the bulk of American women won't vote for him, either?
Do THEY all have a holier-than-thou attitude or is it that character matters to them, and they don't trust his lack of self-control?
The first reports had me persuaded that Martin was a victim of an over-zealous cop wannabe - who should not have left his vehicle but waited for the Sanford police to investigate his reports of ‘a suspicious person’.
There are so many conflicting witness accounts and differing opinions on the character of both parties. This tragedy will be a controversy for months to come; creating more racial conflict - even though citizens of all backgrounds are only asking that the facts be forthcoming and the truth exposed.
The one fact we know - one young man is dead.

Did you see Karen Santorum on Piers Morgan last night? This is a show I never watch, but stopped and watched because Anne Romney was on first. Anne said she thought the DeNiro joke was funny, but then Karen, during her interview, started laughing when Morgan asked her what she thought about Scott Brown’s joke about Santorum and protection. She said she thought it was a funny joke too. Thank goodness they both have a sense of humour. They will need it to get through this campaign.
That is your opinion. On the other hand, many people agree with Rick Santorum.
Newt, don’t politicize this...you’re falling in for Obama’s strategy.
Santorum, took what will be the correct outcome in the end. This kid was unarmed, being followed by an unidentified man in truck - he had a right to defend himself.
Pompous ass is what Santorum does. The weapon was recovered with the round in the chamber fired, and the magazine full, indicating perhaps that during the struggle, the kids hand was on the gun preventing it from stripping the next round off the magazine and reloading the chamber.

I have no doubts this will be used by politicians for their own purposes. I do not agree with most on this topic though. A Neighborhood Watch volunteer (who had called 911 46 times over the previous year) witnesses a 17 year old black kid walking down the road and calls 911. No crime was witnessed. The 911 operator advises Zimmerman not to follow the kid, and he does anyway. At some point Zimmerman gets out of his car and confronts the kid (at least verbally, if not brandishing a firearm). How many of you would not be very much on edge being tailed by a strange car and then confronted? It’s very possible Martin initiated the physical conflict, but it is indisputable that Zimmerman (a grown adult) followed a teenager in his car and then exited the car to confront him (Martin relayed this on the phone call to his friend). It also is completely possible that the gun was not brandished until Martin was on top of him but Zimmerman without a shadow of a doubt was acting as a vigilante, likely spooked the kid, and went looking for trouble. Well he found it, and a 17 year old innocent kid is dead now. This has nothing to do with “stand your ground”, he did the opposite of what Neighborhood Watch volunteers are supposed to do, he left his property and harrassed the kid without witnessing a crime. Again, if anybody was being followed on the street and is confronted, tell me you wouldn’t be on edge. This has nothing to do with whether the kid had been in trouble in school, he was completely innocent on this day. What a tragedy this whole thing is all the way around, and what a shame it is being used by a bunch of political whores for personal gain.
