Sad loser? I guess he and his wife mentoring kids, having a healthy church life, attending college to better himself, taking an interest in the crime going on in his neighborhood, all this make him a sad loser?

I see a lot of this deputy dog bull, overzealous, etc on this board, and my guess is most of these are the same people who either have been on the receiving end of someone "ratting" them out for criminal behavior or are to scared to call something in when they see it go down in their neighborhood, yet decry the way that their neighborhood is going downhill. (Please notice, I said MOST)

I agree. What we do know from direct eyewitness accounts is that Zimmerman did not attack Martin.

My guess from what I have seen is that Zimmerman was watching Martin, Martin noticed Zimmerman observing him, evaded, then attacked him when Zimmerman wasn’t expecting it.

There are two eyewitnesses to this, I think, though one might be Zimmerman’s father.

Police are, for the most part, pretty sensitive to the ring of truth to a story, and because they have to do it all the time, can pick up things that either add or detract to that ring of truth.

Zimmerman, two eyewitnesses, and physical evidence all told the same story (later backed by the 911 call) so it seems that was entirely evident to the police, and is why they didn’t charge him and bring him in.

I am not against investigating this further, but this a mob attack right now. I hate it.
