Is this "your" Trayvon, the A-B student/football player?

If you doubt the validity of it, it came from his Facebook page.

You aren’t just “asking questions”. You’re proposing completely hypothetical scenarios that don’t comport with physical evidence or eyewitness testimony.

I come from an LEO family ... father, husband, brother, nephews, cousins. There’s nothing you can teach me about holsters. Do you know what kind Zimmerman had? My father liked a shoulder holster under his shirt ... that would have been hard to access if pinned to the ground. My husband preferred his ankle holster.

If Martin was a chronic truant and class cutter and teenage burlar (sic), how did he manage to keep an A-B average? Why was he allowed to remain on the football team?

If you had read any of the released police reports, you would know that Zimmerman carried his weapon in a waist holster, on his belt. He told the officer where it was the minute he saw the cop, and that is where the officer retrieved it after handcuffing Zimmerman.

From what I’ve read here on FR, that’s the guy from Georgia.

That’s a great point. That’s why I think it is something far more serious, like being in an unauthorized area like his father alluded to. He seems to have a habit of being in the wrong place...

I thought I had read all the police reports, I must have missed that portion. Can you provide me with a link?

Oh, well, (for somebody with all that family in LE, and a holster expert with nothing more to learn), I guess I was thrown a bit by your asking such a stupid question about how Zman managed to get his gun out.

You’re proposing completely hypothetical scenarios ...

I guess it comes from years of sitting around the table talking "shop" with family members.

I agree, it comes down to the grand jury to decide. If Zimmerman initiated the struggle he may have to stand trial, on the other hand, if Martin was following Zimmerman as he headed back to his vehicle and initiated the struggle then this is self defense. There are reports of an eye witness but I can’t be certain of that at this point.

that’s the guy from Georgia.

The Trayvon from Georgia, Treyvon Leslie, has a Facebook page that says he graduated high school in 2001. That would make him close to 30 years old. Does the pic I posted look like a 30 year old? He also is an engineer and works for the electric company in Georgia.

Do you think that is who is in the pic?

The Treyvon we are talking about was 17 years old on the night in question. He can't possibly have looked like that sweet middle schooler in the Pop Warner pic you posted.

Well, if he had been given his own skittle pooping pink Unicorn as promised he would not have needed to go out at two in the morning. So whose fault does that make it?

I guess it comes from years of sitting around the table talking "shop" with family members.

I served 20 years as a Washington, DC police officer. My wife would never go on a message board purporting to have some level of expertise about law enforcement because we sat at the kitchen table and I told her stories.

Nor would I go on a message board and talk about my expertise in nursing because she tells me all about her day.

Get real.

Here is a wealth of official information to get you started:

To: Travis McGee; Alice in Wonderland

There is 45 seconds of yelling for help on call 3 before a single gun shot is heard.

http://sanfordfl.gov/investigation/trayvon_martin.html

If Zimmerman is on the ground with Martin on top all that time, then it is not a quick draw situation. If Zimmerman had his weapon drawn at the beginning of the altercation, I don’t think he would be screaming for help for 45 seconds (or longer since that is just the start of the call) before firing.

[ The gang-banger Trayvon photos that are being posted on this site are not of ‘our’ Trayvon who was an A-B student and a member of his school’s football team. ]

‘Our’ ? Do you personally know him? Why do you say ‘our’ ?

First, how do you know he was an A-B student? I thought his lawyer had his academic records sealed. Second, so what if he was a member of his high school football them? Third, if he was a model student athlete, why was he suspended from school for skipping class? Not that it really matters.

A little more about the Georgia Trayvon: He graduated from college in 2006 with a degree in mathematics and mechanical engineering, then got his Masters from Georgia Tech in 2008. Here is his Facebook info page:

http://www.facebook.com/trayvon?sk=info

His pics are restricted to friends only so there are no pics of him I can see, but I am confident Trayvon Leslie from Georgia is not the guy in the hoodie pic.

Here is a Google images pic of Trayvon Leslie of Georgia, taken in 2006:

Do you really believe that these pics are of the same guy?

C'mon, you have the Internet at your fingertips. Use it, before drawing conclusions from "what you have read here on FR."
