"Today, in the interest of full transparency, we are informing you that 25 Gannett Wisconsin Media journalists, including nine at the P-C, also signed the Walker recall petitions. It was wrong, and those who signed were in breach of Gannett's Principles of Ethical Conduct for Newsrooms."

O sheesh first judges, now journalists are signing petitions against Walker , so who is next Hookers, Welfare Cheats etc.?
The reporters who work on the input end of a computer system didn’t imagine how it’s possible these days to READ signatures ~ 99.999999% of the time using systems in USPS in fact ~ and that’s old tech you know ~ and once read they could be matched to just all sorts of files.
The only reason Gannett papers are still alive is that they are financed by the television news divisions. Gannett owns lots of local TV stations. There is revenue there because people will still tune in to watch the weather, see game recaps, and their friends and neighbors on TV. They, by themselves are OK financially, but they are propping up the newspapers.
Gannett’s Principles of Ethical Conduct for Newsrooms.
One of the funniest lines I’ve read in a long time.
Wow! Is this statement an oxymoron or what? Never, never, ever use “ethical” and “conduct’ in the same sentence when describing newsrooms (that is, journalists).
