With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered, authorities have revealed to the Orlando Sentinel.
That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say.
Zimmerman has not spoken publicly about what happened, but that night, Feb. 26, and in later meetings he described and re-enacted for police what he says happened.
In his version of events, he had turned around and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from behind, the two exchanged words then Trayvon punched him in the nose, sending him to the ground, and began beating him.

Zimmerman acted stupidly and he wasn’t even DC police. For that, he should be charged with somethin somethin. A minor is dead, a guest of the HOA. The HOA is gonna settle and there will be more foreclosures in the state of Florida cuz HOA insurance is going to go through the roof. Zimmerman not evil but stupid and his jumping to conclusions ended up with a dead HOA “guest”. I don’t care what color either of them are. Florida is not a racist state - too many transplants live here who were never racist.

If that guest proceeded to knock you down and pound your head repeatedly against the pool deck, guess what? You would have legal justification to shoot him in self defense.
It is not uncommon for a firearm to fail to cycle at point blank range.
That is why in good self-defense courses, you learn to tap, rack, bang by instinct.
There isn’t any because they really don’t care. There are far too many problems, and they ignore them as it’s in the Plantation Elites’ best interests. Never mind the crime, drugs, illegitimacy, public schools, etc. If they really cared they would focus attention on skills and values to address those issues, but they don’t. And the reason they don’t is is doesn’t advance their personal agendas.
YOu have a good point. Is Obama using Trayvon as a campaign theme? They want to take us all out. Vote for me. Malia could be your daughter and not want to be punished with a baby. Obama only sees things through his limited perspective (and the brainwashing he got as a youth towards communism/marxiam and hating this nation.)

Someone found in tweets by his friends before he was killed. Something along the lines of, Yo sure whomped dat bus driver, bro!
Having fished Martin's deleted Twitter account out Google's garbage can, I can believe that he would attack a bus driver. He was, if not an actual gang banger, certainly a wannabe. The background pic on his Twitter page is of C-Murder, a rapper who is doing life without for killing a guy back in 2002.
Before I learned of Martin's actual nature, I had referred to Zimmerman as "the neighborhood nazi", and opined that, if I were on the jury, I'd have to let him off reluctantly, absent proof beyond a reasonable doubt of who started the fight. I'd like to change that to, I'd acquit him with enthusiasm, call a presser to denounce the DA, and buy a drink for him.

This doesn’t trouble me in the least. Until your neighborhood has had several burglaries, don’t be so quick to judge. Our residents routinely stop to “chat” with strangers to our neighborhood now and jot down tag numbers of those vehicles which do not belong. We haven’t been victimized in over three years now. Coincidence?
Norm, we don’t always agree but Zim was in pursuit and he did say on that one tape to police: “They always get away.” I believe Zim was in a state of mind where he was tired of “them” getting away and this time, it wasn’t gonna happen on his watch. The intent was not initially to shoot Trayvon but if someone carries, they need to carry responsibly which Zim failed to do. Crime Watch volunteers are NOT supposed to carry a weapon. They are supposed to call the cops who have tazers which are killin’ their own share of Floridians I might add.

Florida is a sunshine state. Those reports and records should be open to the public if they are available now. Can some Fla freeper file a FOIA for them and release them. That’s the only way the truth of the matter will get out. For sure if the media gets these reports the truth will be buried.
If he got out to chase or confront Martin, that could certainly be a factor. But simply getting out to follow him doesn’t bother me.
Anyway, a "guest" of the HOA complex was shot by the crime watch volunteer. That is the bottom line. Leave the dead kid alone. There are lots of little white boys who are punks too. Maybe Trayvon was afraid for his life and his adrenalin kicked in. Zim's not innocent of all charges. Don't follow a bag of Skittles and Iced Tea unless you know theree may be consequences, crime watch volunteer. (Zim stupid)
