There’s not many people in this political world now, that I would even consider paying money for a photo. Newt Gingrich, though is one of my favorites. Newt is a national treasure.

So nice to have leaders so “in touch” with the “commoners”.

It’s very common to charge for photos, partly to cut down on the number of people who want their photos taken so that the candidate in question can move on to the next event or at least not spend the night taking photos with people. The minimum is usually $100, although generally it’s a lot more.

I would gladly pay 50 dollars for a picture with Newt but I wouldn't pay a dime for any of the potential first ladies.

Nothing wrong with Newt using a little innovation to raise money for his campaign.

The ineligible, backstabber patsy Romney:
There is always a cost.
For example, I was promised that IF we attacked Gov. Palin
and her little children, and threw the 2008
election to Obama and the DNC, that then, as MY reward,
I, I, I, would be the next GOP candidate, and all America
would bow down and pray to ME! to ME!!!!!'

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

I just asked the question because I know he was a big help financially. Last night Bill O’Reilly and Brit Hume said Newt was broke. What’s your problem this morning CW? Geesh!!! Once again, Rick INSANEtorum in NOT my candidate. He keeps letting his mouth write out a check his ass can’t cover. Now, you need to just chill out.

I attended a town hall with Ron Paul last month in Gorham,Maine.

After he spoke, a line was formed to meet and shake hands with Dr Paul. Each person was photographed by a local photographer hired by his campaign. The photos were uploaded to the campaign’s website. The photos were available free 2 days later simplyby entering a valid E-mail address.

The campaign got a huge E-mail list free. Everybody got free pictures.

BTW, Dr Paul shook hands with 187 people at that event.

I call Bull! My family has had 3 photos with him in the last 6 months, at different campaign events, for FREE. He worked the crowd and the lines for more than 30 minutes, taking pictures with anybody that wanted one. Standing beside him waiting for him to autograph my signs (for free) we heard him say, time after time, to people in the line “do you want to take a picture?”

Maybe in a setup campaign fundraiser this is happening, just like the $10,000 per plate “dinners” that other campaigns have. But in regular campaign events, NO.

A lot of people are pulling for Newt.

Maybe they need to pull out their wallets and give him some funding so he can keep the conversation going.

I read the other day that Santorum has suggested that he and Mitt have a debate (no Newt).

After canceling 3 debates to keep from looking like lightweights next to Newt, Rick is thinking he can go one on one with Mitt and look like Newt.

Fat chance.
