5 Uncomfortable Truths About Liberals
Townhall.com ^ | March 27, 2012 | John Hawkins

Posted on 03/27/2012 4:09:54 AM PDT by Kaslin

When one becomes a liberal, he or she pretends to advocate tolerance, equality and peace, but hilariously, they’re doing so for purely selfish reasons. It’s the human equivalent of a puppy dog’s face: an evolutionary tool designed to enhance survival, reproductive value and status. In short, liberalism is based on one central desire: to look cool in front of others in order to get love. Preaching tolerance makes you look cooler, than saying something like, “please lower my taxes”Greg Gutfeld

1) Most liberals are hateful people. Who are the most hateful people you can think of off the top of your head? If you're not a liberal, the first people that probably come to mind are the God hates f@gs lunatics from Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church. What type of human beings would do sick protests at funerals? Well, liberals have their own version of this. Whenever a prominent conservative gets sick or dies, there's an orgy of celebratory hatred on the Left. It happened with Reagan, Tony Snow, Breitbart and every other big name conservative in between.

Bill Maher, Barney Frank, Michael Moore, Keith Olbermann, Amanda Marcotte, Ed Schultz, Dan Savage, Ted Rall, Al Sharpton, etc., etc. are some of the most hate-filled people you'll ever run into outside of a maximum security prison, but liberals consider it to be okay because their hate is aimed at conservatives, who are acceptable targets. This is why liberals felt perfectly comfortable attacking Sarah Palin's children, harassing Michelle Malkin's family until they had to move, and publicly posting the addresses of ordinary citizens who opposed Prop 8. They're hate-filled people who are constantly accusing EVERYONE ELSE of behaving the way they do on a daily basis. So, if you want to find the most hate-filled people in America, look for a liberal lecturing other people about how important it is not to hate people and you're practically guaranteed to be looking at a hate-filled person.

2) Liberals do more than any other group to encourage race-based hatred. It's amazing how much we still hear about Nazis and the KKK, even though they're both marginalized, nearly powerless groups of misfits and losers. On the other hand, how marginalized are the hatemongers on the Left? MEChA is allowed in public schools, Al Sharpton is on TV every night, and Democratic congressmen are still willing to appear on stage with Louis Farrakhan.

But that's no surprise because promoting racial strife at every opportunity is an actual Democratic campaign strategy. Almost the entire message of the Democratic Party to large swathes of the electorate is, "Everybody who doesn't look like you hates you except us." There are plenty of liberals who have jobs almost solely because they're willing to incessantly shout "racism" to help the Democratic Party. We even have groups of professional grievance mongers like CAIR, La Raza, and the New Black Panther Party that work incessantly to stir up race hatred because it's good for fund raising and gives them a reason to justify their existence. If the Nazi Party or the KKK had tried to come up with a system to keep people hating each other based on skin color, they couldn't have ever created anything as effective as the one liberals have now implemented.

3) Most liberals are less moral than other people. You won't see liberals being accused of being hypocritical if it turns out that they don't have "good family values," commit adultery, or don't live up to their Christian beliefs because they don't really buy into any of those things. Liberals incessantly attack the church and they seldom talk about morals because if they have no morals, then no one can ever accuse them of being hypocrites. This is also why liberals feel so comfortable lying about conservatives. The standard with liberal blogs, papers, and cable news outlets isn't accuracy; it is doing damage to conservatives. It's considered perfectly acceptable amongst liberals to lie about conservatives, Christians, and anybody else who gets in the way of liberalism. The problem for liberals is that you can't smear and mock people for believing in morals, traditions, and family values while simultaneously credibly claiming to have them yourself.

4) Most liberals don't care if the policies they advocate work or not. This may seem like an alien concept to a lot of people, but liberals don't push policies based on whether they improve people's lives or not. To the contrary, liberals support policies that make them feel good about themselves or alternately, help cement liberals in power. This is why liberals don't care whether tax revenues go up after a tax cut, whether high taxes on the rich kill jobs, or how high your gas prices go because they don't want to drill. To liberals, a policy that kills millions but makes them feel good about themselves is a win, not a loss. See the Left's cut- off of military aid to South Vietnam for one example of that and their opposition to the use of DDT, which is needlessly killing 1.5 million people a year in Africa. Conservatives would be happy to reverse that ban, but it makes liberals falsely feel like they're good environmentalists to keep it in place; so all those poor people in Africa have to die for no reason other than to prop up the fragile self esteem of pampered left-wingers here in the United States.

5) Most liberals are extremely intolerant. Liberals talk incessantly about tolerance and yet they lash out whenever anyone dares to present a view that doesn't toe the liberal line. Conservative college speakers usually need extra security because budding liberal fascists often try to shout them down or assault them. Liberals desperately try to censor talk radio, which they don't even listen to, because they can't stand the idea that someone else is allowed to have a contrary opinion. Why do you think liberals get so upset about a conservative-leaning news station like Fox News, when ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and CNN all lean to the left? It's because liberals don't think people should be allowed to have an opinion that differs from their own.

Amazingly, if you listen to liberals, you'll find that they don't even understand what tolerance is in the first place. Actual tolerance means that you realize people have different practices and views and even if you don't agree, you understand that they should have the ability to live as they choose, just as you should have the leeway to live as you choose. On the other hand, liberals have a fascistic view of tolerance, which really isn't surprising since liberalism and fascism are merely different branches of the same tree. To liberals, tolerance is, by definition, whatever their opinion happens to be. So, to be tolerant, you have to agree with them. People who don't even know what tolerance is shouldn't be lecturing everyone else on the subject.

I agree with # 4. But most liberals I encounter are just plain stupid naive people who need a keeper.

The rest are political activists who meet all criteria 1 - 5.

One does not become a liberal. One is born a liberal. In the fullness of time, a few grow up. Others remain with the child's view of life: The world is whatever I believe it to be. This is nothing new, Jesus talked about it when he referred to his generation
"They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other:

“‘We played the pipe for you,
and you did not dance;
we sang a dirge,
and you did not cry."

There are basically two kinds of people in the world.

Those who just want to be left alone, and the meddling busybodies who just won’t leave them alone.

Ultimately, the former must swat off the latter to get any peace.

Sandra Bernhard issues 'gang rape' warning to Sarah Palin

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

BY TRACY MILLER
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
September 19th 2008

Sandra Bernhard issued a blistering warning to Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show.

The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan, Bernhard said. Palin is said to be making a campaign stop in New York next week.

"[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't believe that other women should have the right to choose," Bernhard told the Daily News today.

From NewsBusters.org, June 9, 2009...

Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.

On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.

Top Ten Highlights Of Sarah Palin's Trip To New York

10. Visited New York landmarks she normally only sees from Alaska

9. Laughed at all the crazy-looking foreigners entering the U.N.

8. Made moose jerky on Rachael Ray

7. Keyed Tina Fey's car

6. After a wink and a nod, ended up with a kilo of crack

5. Made coat out of New York City rat pelts

4. Sat in for Kelly Ripa. Regis couldn't tell the difference.

3. Finally met one of those Jewish people Mel Gibson's always talking about

2. Bought makeup from Bloomingdale's to update her "slutty flight attendant" look

1. Especially enjoyed not appearing on Letterman

Bill Maher Calls Sarah Palin The ‘C-Word’ During His Stand-Up Act

by Tommy Christopher | 3:36 pm, March 29th, 2011

Real Time host Bill Maher wasn’t talking about energy efficient light bulbs when he used the term “2 watt” in reference to Sarah Palin on his show, and he wasn’t expressing a wish to see her next Tuesday during a weekend performance of his stand-up act. The late-night comic/political pundit often uses shocking language to cultivate an “edgy” persona, but his gender-based attacks on conservative women like Palin and Michele Bachmann threaten to alienate the many pro-vagina viewers in his audience.

Liberals also feel entitled...to leave a filthy mess wherever they go. Which explains the mountains of garbage left after a liberal rally. Conservative gatherings leave the place nice and tidy. Liberal’s sense of dependence/entitlement/victimhood leaves them in a perpetual state of adolescent irresponsibility with a “the government will clean up after me” mentality.

The average liberal is...well below average by almost every measure.

Being liberal is a self defense mechanism. Forget ‘fight or flight’, liberals just stand there being ‘liberal’. Sure, in the real world it would get them killed, but in liberal world it gets them protected, and often supported by tax payers.

Most liberals are educated morons.

Ask yourself this question... Do you know any liberals that know anything that can't be read in books? Ask them a question and they immediately start searching their I-pad or Maxi-pad,( something like that ) for an answer.

Oak leaves are smarter than liberals.

Ask a liberal when to plant corn or when the crappies are on their beds and they will stand there looking stupid or start searching their pads. Oak leaves know these things.

Ask the same liberal when snapping turtles lay their eggs...
more dumb looks ( by now the dumb bastard is crying..hee hee), but even corn knows this one.

Corn is planted, and crappies bed, when oak leaves are the size of a squirrel's foot. Snapping turtles lay eggs when corn is ankle high. But you can't easily find these things in books ( unless a conservative writes it down) because it changes every year and comes at different times for areas as little as 25 miles apart.

I suspect that oak leaves are conservatives.

The problem with articles like this is that they just explain what we know, and are not proactive about doing anything about it. The presupposition of conservatives is we are nice guys... which is true, unfortunately, with that presupposition is the belief that we do not attack.... Well...that is the problem. We are constantly reacting to liberals attacks on our side. Why do we not begin attacking the left politically economically, and consistently? Why do we have to wait to have them do something before we react to it? We need to figure out ways to throw barricades in their path, blind side them, sand bag their efforts. We need to shed the, “ Oh we cant be mean” attitude and start knocking them off their game. We will never convince them over to our side by our sound arguments. Shift your perspective this morning. Think about, “how can i screw up a liberals day, just for the fact they are a liberal and nothing more?” Be proactive.

Your points are interesting. But, when we employ the same tactics as they do, we become them. I know this idea doesn't solve anything either. Just be aware of the danger.

To me the major differences is the “touch stone” of where we test the trueness of something. So what are the touchstones?

Feelings - our usual impression of liberals. They don't want to offend anyone, We must tolerate all ideas and behaviors. Most liberals lean on their own understanding.

Experiences- Most peoples understanding of history is what they have experienced in their lives. Many conservatives are here. Their lives have revolved around government and all the answers are in government. Conservatives want to pass just as many laws to solve the problems and don't want to think of the unintended consequences. Remember the standard Nuremberg defense, "I only did what I was told."

The Constitution - occasionally this will be brought up, but I know a lot of conservatives who will run over the Constitution to achieve their goals.

The Bible - nuff said, usually not close to what we think is true and right. Most people would rather eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil where WE get to decide.

Any other touchstones? Do you get people to change touchstones? Most people don't change until they HAVE to. So what does the "have to change" situation look like?

I want to live long enough to see the conservative-liberal controversy reach its natural conclusion. i.e., an agreement to fight it out or go their separate ways.

But, there’s the worry that the disagreement might fester long enough so that I won’t be physically able to participate in the battle, if that’s what it comes to.

Although I’ve made it a point, through my personal worldview studies, to understand the liberal neurosis, and the base assumptions thereof,

I find the most frustrating thing is that they are in such denial that they support the causes of communism and fascism through their advocacy.

Of course, that plays to #4, the basis of the reason for a sheeperal to be “liberal” is to feel good about themselves, and admitting the communist/fascist effect of their worldview would be counterproductive to that end.
