“Yeah, went to home defcon 2 last week “

That is good for the home, but while outside in the yard, or walking around the hood I always carry an extremely sharp easily deployed blade large enough to make someone think twice about mischief.

Kid (smartassed teen)at the bus stop 6 months ago “You ever been shot?” To which I responded “You ever been stabbed?” He shut up and walked away.

More range time sounds good though. :)

Well actually the University of Pittsburgh is a rather different campus environment. It’s plopped in the middle of a city neighborhood with campus buildings interspersed with private buildings and businesses. While the students themselves are unlikely to be carrying, plenty of others in the area might be.

On the downside, other than the local shopkeeps, everyone there will likely be either Pitt or CMU students, staff or faculty all of which are not permitted guns on campus.

I do go back there every year, and PA is kind enough to offer reciprocity on CCW.

Picking up a Glock soon then it is off to the range. Don’t want to have to waste a shell.

I reccommend the Glock 22 or 23, chambered for 40 S&W. But if you shoot the 40 cal and don’t like the recoil, with a $100 barrel change (available from Wolf) you can shoot 9mm and with hollow points in 124 or 147 gr the hit is powerful but the recoil is markedly reduced.
