First of all, he didn’t need authority to exit his vehicle. He is a free citizen. He was on the neighborhood watch and saw someone he didn’t recognize. That someone was NOT walking down the street or on the sidewalk. He was walking BEHIND the townhomes (ie suspicious activity) Second, he did not confront anyone. He followed him.

Recently there was a strange car parked on my street in front of my house with some teenagers sitting in it. I checked out the situation, got the license plate and followed them until they left the neighborhood.

If I had decided to ask them what they were doing that isn’t a confrontation worthy of getting my face punched. It’s only a question.

However when you look at the police video of Zimmerman right after the shooting his nose DOES NOT looks broken. Nor is there any blood on the back of his head as he first claimed

“Zimmerman was not a policeman. He had no authority to exit his vehicle and confront ANYBODY. If someone confronted you on a dark and rainy night after following you what would you do? It can be argued that Martin was defending himself after Zimmerman tried to play cop.”

Still repeating the same nonsense? Zimmerman has every right to exit his vehicle. Prove he confronted anyone? Transcripts indicate he lost Martin, and that it was then Martin that first spoke to Zimmerman. It looks likely that Martin confronted Zimmerman as Zimmerman’s statement attests. So much for feeling threatened (btw if Martin felt threatened why didn’t he just call the police?).

I’ve also read ahead to your ABC News troll post. You do realize that it was taped AFTER Zimmerman received medical treatment, and that Zimmerman’s injuries are recorded in the police report?

First we see that the Sanford police department wanted to file charges of manslaughter against Zimmerman and now we see this police video of Zimmerman apparently healthy and unmarked on the night of the shooting.

Could it be that Zimmerman's father who is a former judge pulled strings to get the charges dropped?
