The terrible truth told by Obama's open mic slip
Fox News ^ | 3/27/12 | Christian Whiton

President Obama just gave the world a glimpse into his future foreign policy plans this week, should he win a second term. On tap for Obama II: more faith in our adversaries, more betrayal of our traditional allies and more unilateral indulgence in nuclear abolition fantasies.

Monday, President Obama told Russian President Medvedev that “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.” Medvedev responded that he would dutifully report that tidbit to Vladimir Putin back in the Kremlin. The men apparently did not realize their discussion was being caught by a live microphone.

Given that the two were talking about missile defense, the implication was clear enough. In order to please Russia, President Obama will use a second term to weaken further the peaceful, purely defensive systems that can defend the U.S. and our allies from missile attacks.

The problem with hold one’s nose in November is that is exactly the strategy that has given us such a weak congress and dismal GOP-e.

So...the strategy will give us what? A Romney? Romney isn’t going to stop, repeal anything. Once he is in he is going to rollover like a good dog.

Newt Gingrich Statement on Obama’s “Flexibility” In Defending America and Her Allies
March 27, 2012

The President’s remark to his Russian counterpart that he would have more “flexibility” on ballistic missile defense after the election underscores how dangerous an Obama re-election would be. The President promised the Senate during the ratification debate on the New START Treaty he would not compromise on the Russian demand to limit US ballistic missile defense. Now we find out that promise was nothing more than empty words. The Russian demands, including ballistic missile deployment restrictions, limits on the technological capabilities of our missiles, and joint control over launch decisions, if agreed to by the US government; constitute a clear-and-present danger to American security.

Background: The Russians are seeking the following:

A legally binding agreement to limit future US ballistic missile defense;

The Russians seek to impose deployment restrictions on US sea-based ballistic missile defense systems including the deployment of Aegis-class missile defense ships from the Black Sea – the path over which Iranian ICBMs would have to travel to reach the US;

The Russians seek joint control of a decision to launch ballistic missile defense interceptors – effectively “outsourcing” life-or-death” decisions about American security to the Kremlin;

Restrictions on the capability of US defensive missiles to prevent them from being able to shoot down ICBMs. This would be implemented by imposing performance limitations on US interceptors – the velocity (at burnout, Vbo) may not exceed 4-km/sec.

This figure reinstates the limitation derived from the now defunct ABM Treaty of 1972. The Obama administration would use these agreements with Russia to effectively recreate the constraints of the ABM Treaty.

The MSM - liberals - and the New York Times will be in there helping him get elected:

One avenue of action is to limit your spending to essentials, particularly when it comes to products advertised on the Major TV networks.
Does two things:
reduces their revenue streams,
and two:
reduces those vendors who advertise on the aO Bama supported news.

It’s a matter of priciple.

If there’s really 40% out there who approve of this treasonous pig-with-blue-lipstick

Yes

....then is there really a country remaining to betray?

Doubtful, IMO.

The problem, Marguerite, is that no one in a position of power seems to get it.

Guessing they are too close to the trees to see the forest.

The forest is shifting...everyday, things are developing more quickly.

Metaphysical things, I think.

Pray without cessation!

And hang on tight!

Our elected 'representatives' the people have become sheep ripe for shearing

By their cowardice and inaction, CØngress has made itself complicit in the treason of Øbama.

Had I the power - even were it to guarantee my death by nightfall - I would impeach the treasonous marxist bastard tomorrow morning.

“The problem, Marguerite, is that no one in a position of power seems to get it.

The only one who gets it is Newt.
He has taught courses to generals and other high ranked officers for twenty years at the National Military University. Foreign policy and national security knowledge is one of his many assets.

And the majority republicans are so dumb to want another dilettante (Rick/Mitt) in the White House ... *sigh*

How’s-bout this: do your own homework. Are your ears too Godly to hear things the rest of us report? if so, keep your head burried, but don’t expect most of us are going to screen your news for you, Mr. Wipe.

"I wonder if he’s going to try and bypass the Supreme Court if they strike down his health insurance scam. Can he impose this monstrosity by executive order?"

Obama can do whatever he likes. He's not bound by the Constitution.

Admit it, it takes the MSM to stir things up before Congress takes action. Richard Nixon would still be with us if not for the determination of the Graham cracker woman (the owner of the WashPost at the time) to oust him.

Exactly correct. Watergate was essentially a media coup.

It is only with the rise of the new media, that the country is able to resist the Progressive agenda.

who is going to put him on trial? no one. that is why he is getting away with anything and everything no one has a spine to stand up for what is or used to be correct.

Imagine what he will do if he loses this next election. Those final days could be unbearable.

And I think the fact that Newt doesn't resonate is evidence that this cycle is the last cycle.

When things get as bad as they can get...usually the vacuum created by the negative is filled by a leader...a positive leader.

Newt has assumed that role and rightfully so.

But the world has spurned him (insanity of course...but the world was never particularly sane).

Seems to me that the manure is about to hit the fan (so pray without ceasing).

Just my humble opinion of course.

Be strong...be positive! And pray!
