Another problem was the testimony Robert Parker, some ex-Miami cop who went before the Congressional Black Caucus yesterday and implied Martin was racially profiled. Give me a break. Just as believable (and likely, since there has been public testimony of Zimmerman befriending and "mentoring" black people) is that Zim is NOT a racist, but merely saw AN UNFAMILIAR PERSON wandering the neighborhood.

I've nearly lost life-long friends because I've hammered them over what a phony Romney is. . .I have nothing but contempt for the Rove-like hacks who control the GOP. . hell, I can't even stand to listen to Hannity anymore because of his play nice to Romney sentiments and his chumminess with that rat Rove. . .So, I have my anti-Romney creds. . .I'm still holding out hope that a brokered convention can produce someone we can get behind. . .that's where I'm at. . ..however. . .Obama MUST BE DEFEATED in November. Obama must be severed from the levers of power before he finishes the destruction of my beloved nation and transforms the world into a morass of violence and war.
The Republican candidate lineup has been a joke since day one. Doesn't matter which one you support over the other as they all have tremendous flaws and are unsupportable as a whole.
It will be a lot harder for Republicans to neuter Romney than Obama. Not only is he one of theirs, but he is far more competent than Obama. Just as Hillary scared me more than Bill because she had an agenda and Bill just wanted to get laid, Romney is scarier than Obama.
Remember, you don’t know what Romney stands for unless you look at his record. What he says is utterly meaningless.
I don’t believe he can win either OH or FL, unless those states somehow fixed their unemployment (I know for certain that OH hasn’t) and got their gasoline down to $1 per gallon.
I’m skeptical of these polls because of the statewide defeats he was “unexpectedly” handed in MA, NJ, and VA one year after winning them in 2008 (never mind the mid-terms); I don’t believe he has much support left outside of the urban black, gay, and public school teacher populations, and that is nowhere near what he needs to win.
From what I understand the prosecutor thought they wouldn’t get a conviction; they had no reason to believe that this was anything other than a justified shooting. I didn’t know what to think at first, but it appears more likely with each passing day that this will be the case.
In my town the fading whites, especially the older ones, would be talking about such a shooting for years, and vote very differently because of it. Some of them are liberals, but the suburbs of Newark NJ are filled with older white people that were chased out of there decades ago.
