HURT: Brutal week for Obama, the worst of his presidency

By Charles Hurt

Thursday, March 29, 2012

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

The past seven brutal days will go down as one of the worst weeks in history for a sitting president. It certainly has been, without any doubt, the worst week yet for President Obama.

Somehow, Mr. Obama managed to embarrass himself abroad, humiliate himself here at home, see his credentials for being elected so severely undermined that it raises startling questions about whether he should have been elected in the first place — let alone be re-elected later this year.

Consider:

• Last Friday, Mr. Obama wandered into the killing of Trayvon Martin. Aided by his ignorance of the situation, knee-jerk prejudices and tendency toward racial profiling, Mr. Obama played a heavy hand in elevating a tragic situation in which a teenager was killed into a full-blown hot race fight.

Americans, he admonished, need to do some "soul-searching." And then, utterly inexplicably, he veered off into this bizarre tangent about how he and the poor dead kid look so much alike they could be father and son. It was election-year race-pandering gone horribly wrong.

• By the start of this week, Mr. Obama had fled town and was racing to the other side of the planet just as the Supreme Court was taking up the potentially-embarrassing matter of Obamacare. While in South Korea he was caught on a hidden mic negotiating with the president of our longest-standing rival on how to sell America and her allies down the river once he gets past the next election.

At least he doesn’t have to pay for his own gas at the price he has driven it to. Were paying for his food and housing and has saving a bunch on speech writers when foreign dignitaries visit.

On the other hand Michelle and the kids had one of the best weeks. More free taxpayer funded vacations. Off to see the Mount Rushmore, then on to Las Vegas and then to California to meet Taylor Swift and present some meaningless award in order to justify her travel expense. Enjoy it while it lasts Michelle.

GREAT article... loved the last line..."He has mastered the high political art of shamelessness, wearing it smugly and cockily. Kind of like a hoodie."

...to be exceeded only by the dismally dreary prospect of a totally flaccid Republican opponent this fall....leading to his re-election...

The GOP needs to start making those talking points right now

You can bet your sweet butt that Romney will not raise a little finger to inform the voters.

"Then he’ll hustle off for another seven-day vacation"

True, his poll numbers improve only when he's miles away from a microphone.

Obama is The Man who Despises America
http://www.jeffhead.com/obama-time.htm

And he was elected by Americans caught up in propoganda, an media “idol” blitz, the false “hmoment of history”, and the blatant refusal of the MSM to vett this candidate and not report the efforts of those who did.

The truth is, he should never have been President. He has done more to detroy our economy, or foreign policy, our defense forces, our moral standing, and our liberty than all the enemies of America in its entire history have been able to accomplish combined.

And now,

AMERICA IS AT THE CROSSROADS OF HISTORY

This is only the beginning of his woes. He will look back fondly at this past week.

WOW!!! That article is AWESOME!!! The GOP needs to start making those talking points right now and do so for about one solid month; the entire month of April will do. In politics, making early and last minute conversions to your side is the way to go. Early converts to the truth usually get set in cement and can’t be proselyted back as they hear more truth. Last minute converts, don’t have time to change their mind. We need to unleash everything on Obama that we can now, in the month of April. And then, throw the entire kitchen sink at him the entire month of October.

Too bad the GOP's gearing up to nominate the most thoroughly unqualified Presidential candidate since...John McCain.

He needs to hit the links. He hasn’t been there in a while. Must be going through putter withdrawl.

If he really wants to steal away Republicans, he should invite some of the Bushes to join him on his next vacation. That would thrill our little Republican primary voters.

and that’s before he started using the Trayvon Martin thing to scare the crap out of white voters to where they would run screaming to vote for any alternative....even Romney

Funny, when Obama responded to the incident where a muslim (Nidal Malik Hasan) killed 12 people and injured 31 at Fort Hood he wanted everyone not to rush to judgement.

Obama's a typical dem... opens mouth, inserts foot and chews. Lucky for them the MSM is too busy kissing their butts to notice:

Amen to that. Imagine Obama’s surprise when he finds out that salvation is not collective, but personal. I feel sorry for him.
