I love broccoli, but take mine lightly steamed emerald green but still crisp. A light dusting of Lite salt on it and I could eat of pound of it. We have it a couple times a week, in spite of the obama’s. No cheese sauce since it covers the broccoli flavor.
However, anything tastes good with cheese sauce. Probably even dog poop. But I’ve never tried that.
