Do they really believe restaurants, groceries, theaters, shopping centers, retail businesses et al will be turning off their lights? They’ll all be open at this time. I can’t wait for the lawsuits to begin when customers sue for the damage and harm committed during that time.

If I were to walk into a restaurant and be told that at 8:30 the lights would be turned off during my dinner, I’d walk out after a not-so-nice comment about their ‘not holding your breath’ waiting for my return.

You must be a very heavy sleeper. Fortunately I have dogs that alert me to anybody outside. One night I hollered at them because they were barking and I was tired. Should have gotten up, they were warning me that someone was breaking into my car. Now I listen to them.

My neighbors light is not super bright and does not go past his driveway. It’s the streetlights that light up the bedrooms. My next door neighbor is just a busybody.
