Hello everyone-
Very scary day over here. My 39 yr old wife suffered an instaneous, out of the blue headache this morning and collapsed. Apparently this is referred to as a "thunderclap" headache, and at the ER she later began exhibiting signs of seizure: right side of her body wouldn't respond, and she could not answer some basic questions- though later she told me that she knew the answers, but could not make her mouth form the words.
Nikki is now feeling better, and has recovered her speech and motor functions completely. They've ruled out aneurism,'hemorrageand stroke; However, the doctors have discovered 2 centimeter abnormality on her brain- either a tumor, or possibly a lesion (due to MS maybe?). We meet with several neurologists tomorrow morning and are at the hospital tonight.

Lord Jesus, please have mercy on Nikki and heal her. Deliver her and her family from fear and let them know you are with them.

Prayers up. Don’t know where this is going, but I do know that not all “thunderclap” headaches have underlying causes. I have two loved ones who have had these, but niether had tumors, lesions or other identifiable causes.

Believe and repeat it no matter what they say to you - “By My Stripes Nikki(you) was healed”. You don’t have to see it before you believe it. Believe it because God said it.
Prayers for your wife. I have a good friend who had “exactly” the same symptoms. She did have a tumor, then surgery. The tumor was benign. Because of her surgery, it took a while for full recovery, but she is great. She has no side effects today.
Lord God, I pray that You guide Nikki’s doctors so they can correctly diagnosis what is wrong with her. Please give her rest tonight, please give her hubby peace. Your peace. Peace that passes ALL understanding! In Your Name, Amen!

You and your wife will be in my prayers. I had something similar but I think was called ‘lightning headaches’ about 20 yrs ago. I was told to cut out aspartame (Equal) and haven’t had one since. They would come out of the blue and almost blind me and I would lose my balance.
The people on FR are phenomenal and we are here for you. Please come back often and keep us informed.

Prayers up! And have them look for signs of stroke again, later, on the brain-scan thingie. Sometimes the damage isn’t visible right away, but a correct diagnosis is a big help toward doing the right thing in the future.
Father in Heaven, the Great Physician, You know mills044’s distress and the condition of his loving wife. May Your comforting Spirit be with mills044’s family and grant wisdom to the medical personnel as they help Nikki. Please provide healing, if it be Your will, and grant Nikki and her family peace.
