Audio experts hired by the Orlando Sentinel have determined that the person screaming for help on a 911 call is not George Zimmerman.
A woman called 911 to report screaming outside her house. In the background of her call can be heard the panicked cries and the gunshot that took Trayvon Martin’s life...

I hate to suggest it....but the screams might have come from an apartment....and not the fight between the two guys.
But if you notice....he only comments that he doesn’t think it’s the Latino guy. He doesn’t say it’s the kid.
So basically this leftist audio expert says it is a 50/50 chance the screaming is Zimmerman.

I suggested on another thread yesterday that at some point both men screamed. What they have on audio is not the entire altercation.
OK lets compare his voice to the one where he’s calmly talking on the phone to the one where he’s getting his head beat on the concrete and his face punched in. Ya think there might be a problem with that? Hell they ought to here my voice change when I step on a hairball barefooted! Pinch his snutz with a pair of pliers and they might come up with a better comparison.

Of course not. He doesn't have a voice comparison for the kid. So there is no way he can say it was the kid.
The expert's standards for sample size and content aren't met. By his own standard, he can't render an opinion one way or the other. So what's he do? He renders an opinion.
This expert would not be allowed to give this opinion in court. His opinion, by his own admission, is unreliable. And so the trier of fact will turn to other evidence to figure out which of the two men was at physical disadvantage in the fight. I'd say the injuries to Zimmerman make that factual finding a fairly straightforward one.

Accepting for a moment that the data is correct, the problem they have is that considering the different emotional states, and other dynamics, between the two samples, a 48% match is not indicative of dissimilarity, and I’m sure they know that.

My thoughts were that they were little kids yelling in the background of the lady who was calling 911.....
Notice that they tell you the needed value for similarity under ideal conditions, but they never tell you the needed values for dissimilarity.
This is pure spin, and if I had an appropriate degree and the medium to dliver it. I would publicly humiliate these hacks in no uncertain terms.

Indeed NBC’s idea of expert is someone who has seen something done once.
How could it not be Zimmerman’s scream? He’s the one with the cuts and bruises. They found nothing on the other guy except a bullet hole. Sounds like justice to me! It’s been my life experience that people scream when being beaten; never when being shot (crying maybe).
There could also be screaming/yelling/crying from others on the various calls, including children of the callers. Unless that possibility was ruled out or accounted for the voice analysis is suspect.
The Orlando Sentinel, who hired the guys, has an audio of the extracted screams vs. Zimmerman's 911 call on there web site.
Then why did the screaming stop after the gun shot was heard?

He’s also a court-qualified expert witness who has a long history of working with the FBI and other federal agencies, police departments, private detectives, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and news organizations.
In 1981 the New York Police Department asked him to help decipher a surveillance tape involving the Weather Underground. More recently confirmed the identity of Osama bin Laden on communiques from the terrorist.
Since the funeral director guy for Trayvon just came out and said there were no marks on the body....why would he be screaming and whimpering like he was being beaten?
Zimmerman has the wounds, two witnesses have him on the ground being beaten by Trayvon (1 later changed his story to say he was not sure who was on bottom)... but Trayvon did the screaming for help?
The press, for the most part, is going to be at fault for much of what is likely coming.
A magic computer program working on an extremely poor quality audio file only had a 48% match with Zimmerman, but we don’t know what kind of match with Martin because there is no reference sample, so therefore it can’t be Zimmerman’s voice and must be Martin’s voice.
Magic computer programs are also the only evidence for Global Warming/Climate Change or whatever else they are calling it these days.
Those magic computer programs sure are handy.
Martin’s father told detectives that it wasn’t his son on the recording that was played for him. It must be awful to listen if a loved one screams on a tape. So sometime after that the family changed their mind, anyone know when this happened? Did Martin’s dad address changing his mind?

It is quite possible that Trayvon’s Dad changed his mind after the experts said that it was most likely Trayvon screaming. The Dad may have been tipped on the “experts” opinion before the public was “informed” of the results.
The hollering was from the woman caller’s little kid, Jeremy. Both were inside their apartment. You won’t hear that from the msm because that doesn’t fit their agenda.
Feh. They quote a witness who says she heard but did not see, who believes the calls for help were Martin.
There are witnesses who both saw and heard who said Zimmerman was calling for help.
I believe Martin gave a death scream - but the calls for help were almost certainly Zimmerman.
That is possible I guess, although it seems like it would be pretty shoddy detective work to lead anyone on like that before the tape is played. Is that what Martin’s father says happened? I googled around the other day and it seems now the family does think it is him, but I wondered if anyone has addressed telling the lead detective that it wasn’t him, at first.
Like I said, listening to a tape of the death of a loved one for screams must truly be one of the worst things to have to do ever. I’m not even saying it is unreasonable to change ones mind about it, I am just wondering if the family addressed the change or what.
