He can determine that on a crappy CCTV video? Give me a break. And take away his license.
If ABC cared about their reputation they would yank him off this story and reprimand him, or fire him.
Does Dr. Friedman honestly think that he can diagnose injuries from low quality surveillance videos.
Hell, if a grainy video is all we need for diagnoses, why are we spending all this money on MRIs and PET scans?
Wow. What a load of crap. The dr from FACEP is a tool. He just wanted FaceTime. I’m sure he is just a bureaucrat hoping to parlay this into a nice gig in the new regime.
There was an article in the WSJ today about the media acting like police investigators on this case. Media sources are getting in “experts” who have never seen any of the people, the places, or the evidence in the case, and yet they are coming out with official-sounding pronouncements, all aimed at “convicting” Zimmerman.
The WSJ pointed out that it is going to be very hard for him to get a fair hearing now.
Does it really matter? I don’t think its on any official statement from Zimmerman himself. It was said by his father once *maybe* and now the press is running with it trying to say Zimmerman is lying about the incident.
So he can diagnose from a grainy, ceiling level video?
He must be Wonder Doctor.

WSJ is 100 percent correct. ABC needs to just take a few seats and stop trying to make news with this case.
I know of no reputable physician who will make a diagnosis based on a photo or a grainy video. Of course, I am sure there are those who will make said diagnosis for the right price.
We should wait until ABC releases the enhanced Doctor’s view...

Dr. Friedman is mentioned here. Bet it is a sure thing he is a Dem.
Doesn’t give much a darn about his reputation or the reputation of his organization, does he? He seems to have chosen a network that has given up any pretense of respectability. They’re a matched pair.
Any Dr. who would make a diagnosis from a video tape without seeing the patient should have his license revoked!
ABC sure is working hard to convict Zimmerman.
Whenever I need a diagnosis, I send my doctor a video.
The doctor is getting air time by being on ABC News. ABC put him on because they knew he would give them the story they want.
Anyone could be ABC’s next victim.
Let’s be patient. Sooner or later we’ll see photos taken one foot from his nose and back of head, and we’ll hear what the doctor treating Zimmerman found.
Friedman is a charlatan if he is saying he can tell if a nose is broken by looking at photos of the back of the head-—or for that matter a grainy photo of a face.
Did or did not Zimmerman visit the ER the next day? That visit and diagnosis if it occurred will be more important than some diagnosis/speculation via a video feed.
That assumes that this “doctor” has a degree and has a license to practice. We do know that his sense of professional ethics is severely wanting. Time for some further continuing education “doctor”?
He has a flat style nose. It is harder to see from a video if that type of nose is broken, then say a Roman Nose.
Nuts, I wish I would have known about this doctor yesterday morning. I went to a dentist who, after taking x-rays and performing a hands-on examination declared that I needed a root canal.
Had I known about Friedman, I just could have sent him a cell phone video, he could have diagnosed it from afar as a a piece of broccoli (or whatever) stuck between my molars — and I could have saved a ton of money.
I’ll never make that mistake again!

I don’t know about whether his nose was broken, but according to the police report http://www.sanfordfl.gov/investigation/docs/Twin%20Lakes%20Shooting%20Initial%20Report.pdf Zimmerman was bleeding from his nose and the back of his head.
this report is all the corroboration he needs.
Otherwise, he has as much credibility as the guy on TV in the lab coat, stethoscope, & name-tag trying to sell me penis enlargement products.

I posted the article because the author Matt Gutman seems hell bent on convicting Zimmerman in the court of public opinion. He’s trying to make a name for himself, but we are busting him. FR is great at doing that.
I wonder how many doctors they asked, who said, “.... you can’t tell whether a nose is broken from the outside....” before they found this one, who would go on recorda as saying there was “little evidence”. Possibly dozens.
For instance, "isolate" the injuries to the back of Z's head. "Attack" the fact that they're even there. Then" destroy" his affirmation of injury over the air waves.
Then isolate the screams, attack his affirmation it was he that was screaming, then get audio "experts" to attest it was not Z crying out for help.
Then go for the broken nose....get some medical hack to state it didn't look broken on TV, hoping to destroy the claim.
Then isolate blood or no blood on the shirt, rain or no rain, white skin or brown skin....isolate everything, attack it, nuance it, spin it, destroy the premise.
Watch for everything leading up to the shooting and afterwards being dissected, parsed, analyzed, torn apart, one by one. Watch for all kinds of "experts" being trotted out. You're seeing all this now, almost hourly, is this not so?
This is a carefully plotted Alinsky-assault against Mr. Zimmerman, nothing is being left to chance. The liberal fascists in the racist movement and their allies in the controlled media cannot afford to lose this one. They're too heavily invested in seeing Zimmerman hang by the neck till dead. They will not relent their assault even in the face of hard evidence against their agenda.....or even if riots and arson erupt in their own backyards.

The media must have sifted through as many doctors to find this one as they did to find a voice “expert” to say that the voice calling for help was not Zimmerman.

Wonderful this Doc sounds like he has xray vision and can see a break with his naked eyes since he did not touch or inspect the inside of the nose (or the outside other than a fuzzy video)Bleeding is one sign of a possible broken nose.

I actually wondered about this when I first saw the pictures. I boxed competitively for years and have seen and suffered many broken noses. In my experience they bleed like a faucet and get very red and swollen within minutes. I would have expected to see his shirt drenched in blood and a very red, swollen nose. But I’m no doctor and there may very well be types of hairline nose fractures that don’t display these characteristics.
Not ER, but yes, a medical facility. Decision to not stitch the head wound(s) because they were already healing, and to stitch would require cutting them open again.
The police evidence folder includes the report or reports from the tending physicians. ABC, and Gutman in particular, is just making noise like a baby does when it wants attention.
ABC & Matt Gutman are doubling down. Betting they can diffuse this before they get sued by Zimmerman over their lies.
They deserve a lawsuit.

Kobe Bryant suffered a broken nose in the NBA all star game. Very little (if any) blood. No deformity of the nose. The only clue was is expression of pain at the time of injury and the next few games he wore a protective mask.
