If there's one thing that Obama is a master at it's lying.
With that in mind I'm starting to feel really apprehensive about the SCOTUS vote on Obamacare.
I hate to say it but what if he's won?
What if he's managed to flip one of the judges (or didn't even have to)?
What if he's been informed by Kagan or Sotomayor that it's in the bag?
What if all these little statements to the press are just him loading the bases for a grand slam in June? So he can look Large and In Charge to all his minions?
I hate to be defeatist but I'm getting a sinking feeling in my stomach.

It’ll be whataver it’ll be. There’s no point in wasting the next two months fretting over the possible outcome. We need this time to keep working toward November. Regardless of the court’s decision, Obama’s bill was a piece of junk... and that’s what we need to hammer home.
Kagan or Sotomayor in a losing effort may try to establish their bona fides. Exactly as Congressmen do on a losing bill, by agreeing with their leadership to vote against their party to protect themselves from their constituents.

First, I am absolutely certain the liberals on that court tipped Obama, they are without ethics. No question.
On what they told him, I’m not sure. At first I thought he was told it will be upheld so he is out showing bravado.
Perhaps he was told Kennedy is leaning the “wrong” way but isn’t sure. Apparently Kennedy has flipped in the past in the middle of writing an opinion.
Either way, the above is a total breach of court ethics.
Pray to God Obama is not reelected and does not get to place another 100% left wing jerk on that court. Kagan and Sotomayer are embarrassments.

You are right that we will not be rid of this. Certainly not by anything as quick as a SCOTUS decision.
National Healthcare is happening because the bottom of the Pyramid is crumbling, just as has already happened in Old Europe. The Pyramid Schemes of Medicare an Social Security have been the Federal Government’s slush-fund for more than the last 50 years.

Evil has come a long way in America. It took this long but Evil has arrived. No, when June rolls around the votes will be there for Obama because by hook or by crook the administration will see to it. This is it folks. This is the battle. THEY know it. Soon we’ll ALL know it.
I spare myself the misery and automatically assume Obamacare will be upheld.
If it isn’t, I would be pleasantly surprised.
What I think could very well happen is that they say the mandate is not Constitutional.
Don’t get excited yet. I also think they will uphold the rest of it. Then the Obama admin will seek a single payer system using the same format as SS and Medicare (say bye to your paycheck). They will pay for it by taking the funds from you paycheck.
There is a precedence, Social Security.
Only way then to overturn will be changing the President and the Senate.

I thought the allowing strip searching was related to a persom being detained in jail, unrelated to the charge. In order to have some degree of safety in the jails, everyone has to be searched. It is not pleasant, but it is a fact of being put in jail.
Most here think its extremely unlikely nobama will be able to intimidate the SCOTUS into going his way and instead its likely his strongarming may turn a “maybe” into a “throw it all out”.
Am bettin if the prelim vote was heavy against nobamacare, kagan then recused herself to ward off furure impeachment. Being most junior, she would have been last to vote and could have easily recused as it came down the line. We may not know of her move until the ruling is handed down.

the ones who are taught fisting is an acceptable act between children
the ones who are taught union songs in school by teachers hellbent on securing their own financial security instead of the student’s academic security
the ones who are taught that muslims are important American history makers (as according to the POS POTUS)

But mostly , I feel sorry for the children who will not be taught that America and Americans are exceptional, that we are the world’s peace keeper and the most giving country in this world, but have been headed for the last three years by someone and his wife who truly hates this country and all that we stand for and is determined to destroy her from within.

I think this is the first time I have disagreed with you....oh yeah....the evil is here, and Obama is the head dude, but SCOTUS is deservedly PISSED OFF at Obama, and no threat will change it. Also, it is the most evil, vile, unconstitutional POS that ever darkened the steps of SCOTUS.

Not having a REAL clue, I think it is not going to be 5-4 and that’s what has Obama really worried. It’s not impossible that it was initially 6-3 or even 7-2, and if it gets there, the 2 BHO appointees may be persuaded to go per curiam, and tell Congress to do better next time.
No matter what, there will probably be 9 opinions written, concurring in part, opposing in part, blah blah blah. Every one of them will want to have his/her say.

Nah, the thing is so far gone, that a first year law student would toss it. It won’t stop Obama from trying to break the law though. He does it almost every day.
I think they will rule the individual mandate not Constitutional. Obama already knows that.
What they won’t do is say the whole bill must be thrown out. The Court will contend that the text of the bill isn’t their business, only whether it is Constitutional. They will have to find another way to pay for it other than an individual mandate.
This is where the election comes into play. The SCOTUS will leave it up to the voters. Obama will use this as a tool to say that the GOP doesn’t care about Americans and Healthcare. If you notice, Obama has already began that talk this week.
Elect Obama and Dems, you will get a single payer system just like SS.
Elect a Republican President and Republican House and Senate, you have a chance to overturn it.
What is in the bill is irrelevant. It isn’t about that, and that is why Reid took out the clause that said it is not severable from the mandate.
Since the severabilty clause was removed, why is the SCOTUS wasting any time on severability?

Barry has been unhinged at least since he was in college. The fact that he hid his insanity from himself and the world by turning narcissist is what has kept him out of an asylum. Narcissists excel at two things, using people and hiding from reality. As long as Barry had Obamacare on track he could keep the bubble he lives in intact. With Obamacare even in the Supreme Court, he's going to have ever increasing problems with keeping the bubble he lives in in place, problems to the point of probably acting obviously insane even in public if Obamacare is totally eliminated.
Any country that elects a guy who admitted to what Barry admitted to in his own Bio and has constantly fought in court to hide the same records everyone else is expected to be able to provide when applying for a job deserves what they get. This country elected a maniac who lives in his own unreal word because that's how most of the voters live, in their own, unreal, little world. For all the "social media" jabber, people have given up social interaction for personal illusion at an increasing rate ever since teenagers started meeting friends on the net instead of meeting them at the mall or other well populated public places.
