Fox News ^ | 4/3/2012 | fox news

A federal appeals court is striking back after President Obama cautioned the Supreme Court against overturning the health care overhaul and warned that such an act would be "unprecedented."

A three-judge panel for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered the Justice Department to explain by Thursday whether the administration believes judges have the power to strike down a federal law.

I’m sorry, but this kind of statement by the President of the United States is really scary!

Since this is supposed to be a Constitutional Scholar, I have even more reason to worry. Has the other two Constitutional selected departments of our government decided to go rouge? Will the Congress and the Courts let this go? Scary - really!

A letter from the court instructs the Justice Department to provide an explanation of "no less than three pages, single spaced" by noon on Thursday.

Or get your knuckles rapped!

It is becoming plain to me that this foreign born impostor does not intend to leave the white house no matter what happens. He does not intend to let anyone, or anything, even the Supreme Court, over rule him.
He is the most dangerous man who has ever been allowed in the door of the White House.
We need to watch him like a hawk and take away any opportunity or excuse for him to stay.
Watch your ass folks. He wants to appoint himself president for life.

I think Oblamer knew exactly what he was saying, I think he is positioning for political expediency. Either he will run against SCOTUS, or He knows they will punt the issue, and He will run as the slayer of Wall Street, and Big Insurance, injustices like Julius Cesar entering Rome, I came, I saw, I conquered!

" A letter from the court instructs the Justice Department to provide an explanation of "no less than three pages, single spaced" by noon on Thursday."

This simply made no sense to me -- why would anyone demand a lengthy explanation (wherein the waters can be truly muddied)? I suspected that the judges actually wanted no more than a 3 page explanation; so I looked it up.

It seems that they specified a "three pages, single-spaced" letter; which one could interpret as "no more" than three pages, or "exactly" three pages -- certainly not "no less" than three pages. Fox news should not have put their interpretation in quotation marks, as it was clearly not a quotation.

Here's a link to what Business Insider wrote:

Since his first Executive Order (he's cranking them out an un-precedented pace, using them for any Law he sees won't be passed by Congress, and his butt-boy Holder enforces ONLY those Laws that they choose to), I saw we had another "Edi Amin Abu DaDa", Emperor For Life, who could care less about We The People.

It's gonna get real ugly, real quick.

Since the Congress has been taken over by the political parties and the PACS, I guess they figure it's a fight of two against one.

But the citizens will have a really hard time seeing the Supreme Court get even more politicized than it already is. Taking on the court has never been a winning strategy before-but these are unusual times.

I have felt that this administration is spending their time consolidating power. They have no intention of relinquishing what they have won.

When I read about the Executive Oder giving feds the power to declare martial law during times of peace, I figured that was probably that last little piece - except that we are not disarmed.

If they win the election, they’ll continue to work on the little details, which will end up making the take over easier. If they don’t win, then they’ll start a civil war.

The phrase that keeps running through my head - he’ll take over “only if we let him”.

I will say that it is really a shame that the Constitution is not taught in schools these days. Maybe the problem has been pinpointed!

Cocoa can be used with sugar substitutes to make a decent snack....Also look into the glycemic index. Chocolate covered peanuts is a quarter of the points of rice, flour or potatoes. They use G index to regulate diabetes in Europe. Many diet plans are based on it because it helps regulate sugar, loose weight/lower sugar.

Yes. One my law school professors had him as a Con Law lecturer at UChicago. In class one day a student asked a question (unrelated to the law we were studying) and the professor replied "Ah, that's a Con Law question. You will need to ask Prof XXXX or Prof XXXX about that. Oh and for the record, my Con Law instructor was Barack Obama, therefore I learned absolutely nothing about the Constitution."

True story. I was sitting about 5 feet from him when he said it.

They probably demanded at least 3 pages because otherwise Holder would hand them a one line piece of paper that said “yeah man we be diggin’ the constitution as we see it”. Which would mean nothing to them accept be a mockery of the judiciary. Now he has 3 single spaced pages to dig his hole a little deeper.
