Veteran Orlando-area criminal defense attorney Hal Uhrig today announced he's joining George Zimmerman's defense team.
He told WOFL-Channel 35 that he's confident that Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he shot Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, in Sanford Feb. 26.
Zimmerman passed a voice stress test, something similar to a lie detector test, that was administered by Sanford police, Uhrig told WOFL on its 6 p.m. newscast.

I would bet Trayvon was even making a move on his gun. Meanwhile, 2 black young men attacked a motorist in Sanford with a hammer and stole his car yesterday. And you’ll never hear a word about it in the LSM.
My understanding from cboldt is that the State prosecutor will probably provide a report with statements, evidence noted if she decides not to take it to court.

Went the link and saw another story about the 2 Sons Of Bam Bam (from here on in known as SOBs) that carjacked the 50 yr old White guy and beat him into a coma with a hammer. Race wasn’t mentioned...period.
Similar thing happened to a friend of mine. Auto shop teacher beaten into a coma with a sledge hammer by 2 student SOBs. Local naacp came out in support of the poor children who must’ve been provoked to do
it and since they missed some of his money and didn’t take it all robbery wasn’t the motive.
The head of the local naacp said that it wasn’t a hate crime but if the races were reversed it would have been.
The more I read about this, the only thing I can post without “abuse buttoning” myself is BACKLASH.

As I understand it a lot of people have already donated money to his defense. But I was just saying it would be good to have all the evidence come out instead of this constant one-sided crap that is constantly played out in the press every single day. The MSM wants to public to think he is a white skinhead who saw a black kid, walked up to him and shot him just because he was black, and the cops won’t arrest him because he is white. What a trial would do would show the public the real story.
Well, I fully understand what you are saying regarding the media narrative on this, it is utter bullspit, and it absolutely needs to be resolved.
However, a trial costs a lot of money, both to the defendant and the tax payers.
But I want to primarily focus on the defendant. It is very fortunate that enough people have seen through the media BS and decided to donate to a defense fund for this man, but what if they did not?
What if it was me or you, and the US media made us enemies of every person in this country via a campaign of lies, and all we had was our weekly paycheck to attempt to defend ourselves, and on top of that, we can’t even get our weekly paychack, because the mother ****ing Black Panthers put a hit out on us, and the department of Black Just Us didn’t do a damn thing about it?
Now Mr. Zimmerman has to pay a TEAM of lawyers, very expensive lawyers, that charge for every single minute of every single thing they do to 1. keep him alive by representing him against character assassins and real assasisns and 2. keep him out of jail where he will die without a doubt.
On top of that, he must now face the ordeal of a potential grand jury indictment and a potenital jury trial in which God knows how many race zombie media poison fed idiots could end up on and decide the outcome of his life all because a POS black president wants to get re-elecetd and decided to whip his people into a frenzy over a dead thug who ****in’-A deserved to get shot dead.
You know, if I was George Zimmerman, no if I was chris37, I would never go anywhere around black people again, because God knows how your life could fall apart completely as a result of doing so, as a result of reporting one for being suspicious or even as a result of being a 50 year old white guy in Sanford FL who gets beaten with a HAMMER...avoid them.

Hal Uhrig and the other lawyers that are signing up to defend Zimmerman smell blood in the water - that translates to $$$.
They’re going to get a number of “undisclosed settlements” from various players like NBC without it ever going to court. Remember Spike Lee, more cash... And there are plenty of others...
After the Duke Lacrosse fiasco, why is it that Jackson and Sharpton have any remaining credibility? I really don’t understand it.
What's funny is that he has sort of a reverse Dorian Gray thing going - his pictures show him getting younger and less thuggish every time I see them.
Also, I was at the grocery store and saw that People magazine states that the nation is "Outraged". Sort of like how the nation was "In Mourning" when Anna-Nicole Smith died.

That's why I think the special investigator / prosecutor will submit a fairly comprehensive report to the public; including photos of Zimmerman's injuries, diagrams, Zimmerman's complete statement to police, all the eyewitness accounts, and whatever forensic evidence reports are pertinent. She may also provide her own narrative, walking through the evidence, and then deliver the conclusion.
I don't see support to obtain articulable suspicion that Zimmerman's account is false in any material way. He may err in estimating distances, precise time intervals, etc. - but the flow of events in his account is not contradicted by ANYTHING except speculation - also known as fantasy.
A thorough and credible report makes it more difficult for the race baiters to use their fantasies to sustain the mob action.
Counsel against Zimmerman in a criminal trial represents the state, adn would net be not Crump. But in a civil case, Crump gets a payday.
It would be a travesty to indict Zimmerman based on the evidence in hand - and the state would be opening itself up to a wrongful prosecution suit. See too, obtaining the reputation of Nifong.
The evidence can come out without a trial.

This stunt that Sharpton, the NOI, the NBPP, the POTUS, and Jackson have pulled have set back racial relations to such a point that it may never recover. There have been an uptick in cross race violence since this incident, to include Sanford, Florida.

That's one of the points of the "Stand Your Ground" law. You shouldn't have to expend all your resources if you are involved in a righteous shoot. And that's how I knew this was all a big media put up job.
The fact the police didn't arrest Zimmerman at the outset means they knew it was justified use of deadly force. If it had been shady, they would have arrested him in a New York minute and let the court sort it out.
I hope the attorney totally bombards every media outlet, including full-page ads in every newspaper, with the 911 call info, specifically how NBC left out a huge chunk of it in order to purposely stir up racial tensions.

There is NO evidence that produces an articulable suspicion that Zimmerman's account was false. Not one piece. And as far as I know, none has surfaced as additional evidence was added to the investigator's file.

That's my point. Many people are getting too wrapped up in the law's nickname rather than what it actually provides for.
Actually, the BIGGEST benefit to the law is the immunity from civil as well as criminal prosecution, provided the defender is not guilty of wrongdoing.
Zimmerman is in trouble not for what he done, but who he did it to. If Martin had killed Zimmerman or Zimmerman had been Black this story would never made anything but local news. But it is what it is and Zimmerman is headed for prison on some trumped up charge. If his lawyer[s]have not advised him of this , they are derlict in their duty[ies].
Zimmerman is not th first to be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. There are the officers in the Rodney King case, the Border Patrolmen and a number of Servicemen during the Iraq and Afganistan conflicts.
From reading the news, unprovoked attacks on Whites by bunches of Blacks have increased and it is not even summer yet. This should warm the cockles of the self hating Whites and members of the Lynch Zimmerman mob, both on and off this forum.

Another error in many current interpretations of "Stand your ground" is that it admits use of deadly force at something less that the threshold of "reasonably fears imminent death or serious injury."

If investigators determine this is a hate crime, we will use the race. The Sheriff’s Office has withheld the name because he is on life-support and will likely not make it.

NBC did admit that they had doctored/edited the tape. They may have put themselves into a position of litigation against them by Zimmerman, IMO.
The other part- a 50 yr old victim attacked with a hammer...I can guess that he is in very bad condition from such actions.
Well, I wish that was the case, I mean I’ve caught myself thinking go around Zimmerman at your own risk Black Panthers, cuz he’s a goos shot.
But I think the fact of the matter is that he cannot even go outside without real danger to his life.
