What, hold my nose and vote for the RINO?

Been there, tried that, didn’t work.

Never again.

We won’t get anything different from Romney than we got from Ø, you can count on it. Romney can’t be trusted. He is throwing out all the same lies that Ø reassured his more socially conservative base with just to get elected, only to reneg on all of them as soon as he got into office.

If Romney has to be the establishment anointed, I will throw all of my resources and efforts into electing the most conservative Congress possible. But I don’t think Romney can beat Ø. Why vote for the covert Leftist when you can have the out-and-proud one?

nope not gonna do it...Both will raise taxes, both will push the homosexual agenda, both will nominate liberal judges, both will grow the government and social welfare. The only difference is one thinks we are his subjects to be ruled by his policies and the other views us as employees to be managed by his policies.....

Well said. Anyone who affirmatively votes for Romney is affirmatively acting for the collapse of American society.

(shrug) I vowed here at FR long ago that God should strike me dead if I ever vote for Romney.
So I CAN”T vote for Romney without risking my life.
Mittens ain’t worth that risk, believe me..

Absolutely I will vote for Romney, even though he is not Ronald Reagan. I held my nose for McCain but I will enthusiastically vote for Romney and every other candidate with an R beside their name. I have no doubt at all that Romney will defeat Obama in an historic landslide that will make the 2010 midterms look tame by comparison. The mood on the street against Obama is getting uglier every day for the Dems...

This is not gut check time. I will be voting a straight Republican ticket in order to get Obama and his freakshow out.

This is easy. I don’t care who runs on our side, we have all adults. They have yet to produce one.

I respectfully submit that you’re asking the wrong question.

The right question is “How are we going to rid the GOP of wimps, whiners, and afraid-to-fight losers”

The choice of Obama vs. anyone else is obvious - even if “anyone else” is Romney, and I trust everyone will make the right choice....I hope so.

The vitriol should be directed to the Republican party apparatus.

"It got us Obama because McCain didn't get enough votes."

Lot's of folks stayed home because no one had any idea just what hussein was capable of. We thought we'd teach those RINO GOPes a lesson. Well they learned nothing, and now we are screwed. We have to support this waxworks asshat to save our country.

We kept Bush from pushing through his "compassionate conservative" BS, and we can keep romney in check too. Local level, and senate races are key.

What message am I sending? Okay, we have TWO choices. Pick one.
Democrat is a religionist whose founder was a pedophile.
Republican is a religionist whose founder was a pedophile.
Democrat is a religionist whose founder says only HIs Book is the Good book, Koran.
Republican is a religionist whose founders says only HIs Holy Book, is the Good book Book of Mormon.
Democrat Candidate says his founder had many wives.
Republicajn Candite says his religions founder had many wives.
Democrat Candidate says that his religion is apocalytic, was conquering all foes.
Republican Candidate says that his religion’s founder was to conquer and their prophecy was to save us all.
Democrat Candidate is a big spender.
Republican Candidate as Gov...was a big spender.
Excuse me if I’m missing something but Rommney is just Obama Lite.

Nope. I didn’t vote for McCain, either (though in fairness, I think Mitt will make a much better President than McCain would have).

What will I do? Write in Palin and prepare for war. Been ready for a while now, anyway. Might as well go ‘all in’.

The real gut check is whether or not you will submit to the tyranny that’s coming our way regardless.

I’m too old for this crap, anymore. As Steinbeck once said, “Never pick a fight with an old man. If he’s too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.” Works for me.

“If Romney is the nominee, I’ll go to the polls with my primary goal of replacing Debbie Stabenow with a conservative.”

Who is running against her?

One of the good things this year is how many good conservatives are running.
One of the bad things is that the Presidential race has overshadowed that.

can you live with that on your conscience?

There's a sad amount of people here who can easily live with that on their conscience, because their precious little self-concept of "purity" is more important to them than the country, or the infant who survived an abortion and obama believes should be left to die. They can live with help putting that type of inhuman slimeball in charge for another four, because they can pretend and brag that they are still "pure." Pure BS.

[If my one vote makes the difference between whether or not the GOP nominee gets my state’s electoral college votes, then that same GOP nominee has no hopes of winning.]

That is one of the most ignorant posts I have seen here in days. Don’t bother responding. It is not possible to carry on a logical discussion with you on that grounds alone.

I could not and I can’t stand Mitt, but I will vote for him if he is the candidate.

That's EXACTLY what the scumbag GOP establishment elitists are counting on.
Knock yourself out if you want to be a sucker and reward those scum. I won't.

Yes. I don’t see the point of it, at least not until we have a nominee, and depending on the nominee, the decision may come down to the moment we all stand in front of a ballot. That’s when we must finally confront reality, our consciences and God.

I don’t like either one. Either way we’re screwed. But it sure would be satisfying to see look on O’blamer’s face when he loses.
