I hold a BS from Iowa and for years have not been a contributing alumnus, due to the politics of the University and liberal Presidents they continue to hire.

Libs want to teach only what they want to force down our throats. They want to control everything we do, because they think they are always right. To this argument I always respond, “there are an infinite number of wrong answers to any question and, therefore, there is an extremely large statistical probability that you are wrong and a minuscule possibility that you are correct.”

and yet they are opening up MORE law schools!!!

there has to be a way to shut down the glut of schools. Perhaps some states could have referenda which close the state run schools since so many private shools now exist.

“there has to be a way to shut down the glut of schools”

There is a way, stop giving them tax dollars.

At least this “law school” merely denied his position search and he went on his way. In a certain country this “LAW SCHOOL” wants to emulate, a varying and unpopular opinion and/or view would result in a vacation in a state sponsored “re-education camp.”
And yes, that is EXACTLY who and where I mean. I see NO difference in attitude.

I wonder, do private Christian universities (Liberty, ORU, etc.) vet the political bent of their applicants the same way?

The states should run the state universities like investments. For each student, five years after graduation take the student's gross income, his major, and list of classes (including professors) he took, and compile statistics. (Defer majors with long graduate studies/internships like medicine)

The majors with the lowest return on investment get dropped. The professors with the lowest return on investment get fired.

It has the added benefit that departments would stop accepting so many students who are unqualified for their majors.

It is not enough to stop the tax dollars. You have to outright shut them down. close the doors. There is no reason for a state law school in this day and age.

I don’t support discrimination of any kind. but I would be willing to bet their law school faculty have more than one registered Democrat.

Conservatives need to just stop funding, period. Charities, nonprofits, alma maters, whatever. Give only to the select few that are truly practicing our values and within their respective objectives. If a law school is to teach law then it needs the best professor, and if that appointment is denied, then donations need to stop.

It is better to donate to places like Hillsdale than an alma mater that misbehaves.

95% of the faculty at colleges and universities are liberal.

If the libs really believed in diversity, at least 50% of the faculty would be conservative.

Defund and block all manner of federal funding including the availability of guaranteed student loans, GI Bill grants, public grants to all who wish to study there.

Time to play hardball.
