Do you have any idea how much money Jim could make by selling this site, a la Huffington Post for example, to an entity that wanted to use it for advertising? For that matter, do you know how much money Jim could make by selling advertising?

I think we need a sellers forum where proceeds or at least a percentage goes directly to Free Republic. Myself and plenty of others with an artistic bent are more than happy to promote FR through art.

However . . . Given all the trying financial givens in this traumatic era . . .
and IF lurkers &/or posters below a certain number of posts were to be the only ones to see ads—that would be quite workable, too . . .
particularly for Patriotic companies, individuals, products.
And personally, I’d love to see the figures worked out somehow such that a month or 3’s buffer could be built up. Not that I have any capacity to help, much. Sadly.
Perhaps an exorcist as well.
