Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."

Yes I had read the update that the source for the news story was a phone call made to a neo nazi commander who reported that the armed patrols would commence and used that phone interview as the basis of the news story. I think that it’s probably about as likely as the new black panther party having $10,000 to hand out to would be assassins but hey man it’s the internet and anything is possible. I think that we get the chance to believe every fear that helps us live with the possibility of our ultimate failure as human beings. It’s part of the simple pleasure of being the leper with the most fingers.
The problem is actually that white policemen run roughshod over white, even those who are civil to them and otherwise orderly citizens. This has nothing to do with race,but with the human nature and the nature of the police. We don't need more police white or black. We need less.
I’m not being delusional. Race relations are getting better all the time. Especially since we now have a black President. I didn’t say they were perfect, but getting better. And further proof of that will be if he wins a second term.

I think Donald Trump is arrogant.
People who become police officers are a representation or a cross section of society. How many times do we read, in the news, about bitter divorces of police officers or even domestic abuses. And even murder of a spouse. A policeman is simply a representation of the cross section of society. Except hired and employed to enforce the law. And they bring with them, all the social baggage to the job like anyone else at their jobs.
The solution isn't to reduce police officers, but to bring in people who are closer to the upper end of society (i.e., people who otherwise be doctors, teachers, social workers, etc.). Many times, a police officer is someone from the rank and file of a hardened blue collar workforce.
And if that is the case and since we can't always get people with a social conscious to become police officers, the next best thing is to continue to diversify the police force commensurate with the proportion of the population.
Try to not kumabya your way into becoming a statistic of the 75% of the negro population that wants you dead.
Oh and btw, your halfrican mulatto hero Øbama can kiss my solid white ass.

You must live in some kumbaya college town. I live a mile away from the border of Philadelphia. Until a year ago, I would never hesitate to go down to Philly. I even used to be a regular at a club right on the edge of a bad Philly neighborhood and never had any issues with the locals, even got to know some of them.
And now? In Holder's and Obama's America, if I go to Philly, I get to eye a group of young black males approaching me and wonder if one or more is going to attack me with brass knuckles, as has happened here. Or if a crime spree flash mob will break out. Or if the New Black Panthers will show up at my polling place this November with no fear of being prosecuted for voter intimidation.
Obama and Holder have set back race relations years if not decades by removing any impetus for thug culture to reform itself - the one remaining obstacle for race relations to improve in this country. Instead, they have literally encouraged it to get worse. And idiot, clueless ninnies like yourself look at Obama and all you see is black instead of seeing a destructive narcissist who only sees things in black and white himself - hardly the epitome of MLK's vision for a color-blind America.
