Lab-grown human egg cells could be fertilised

Human egg cells which have been grown in a lab could be fertilised in a landmark experiment that would completely rewrite the rules of reproduction.

Scientists want to secure permission to fertilise the eggs, which have been produced from stem cells, to see whether reproduction this way is possible.

Researchers are working towards generating an infinite supply of human eggs which could allow older and infertile women to become mothers, the Independent newspaper reports.

Furthermore, some scientists have gone as far as to say the tests could uncover an ‘elixir of youth’ which would eliminate the menopause and allow older women to remain young and healthy, with the stem cell eggs replenishing their ovaries.

The teams from Edinburgh University and Harvard Medical School in the US are aiming to fertilise the eggs with human sperm, which would allow them to study them for the legal limit of 14 days, and they will not yet be transplanted into a human womb.

Edinburgh biologist Dr Evelyn Telfer told the newspaper: 'Could the fertilisation take place this year? Yes, absolutely.'

'If you can show you can get ovarian stem cells from the human ovary you then have the potential to do more for fertility preservation.'

You can deceive many with your shucking and jiving, but in the end it is you trying to shuck off responsibility for your sins that is the modus operendi for your shucking and jiving. And your twisting and wriggling just shows the more your desperation to ‘pass the blame’ and absolve yourself of responsibility for your ultimate demise. When you became a human being, you became a being with an eternal nature. You will be the ultimate decider of your etrernal deadness or your coming alive in Christ. You have so far chosen to spit in God’s face and dismiss His plan of salvation from eternal deadness. Good luck with that. You will not argue God into dismissing your sinfulness, whatever your chosen degeneracy may be, because He has given fair and open invitation to come alive in Christ and you are choosing to dismiss that with your twisted sophistry.

Your example is fine for a human. God is the creator of all though. His knowing something will happen, means it must happen, right? Why would He create someone He knows will do something wrong?

I guess you just don’t understand what you read, again. Thanks for the non-answers, again.

‘Nite, it’s time for bed.

It must be hard work remaining ignorant at all cost, even exposing your desperation.

I don’t mean this sarcastically but, do you believe God is the creator of all? By human logic and scientific understanding, nothing has ever been observed to spontaneously be created out of nothing without a cause, a prime mover, a creator. Logic would then dictate that this creator, by the example given of creation itself, would thereby have the ability to do whatever they willed, like making sure His word would stand over time. In his word he has authenticated himself through prophesy that has been fulfilled. He tells me, in His word, that he knew the problem of sin could arise from free will so he offered a simple solution.

I chose to believe the One that is capable of creating an entire universe over fallible man.

God loves you. He died for you, even on a cross. It’s a free gift. What can it hurt to accept it?

So, once again, the “progressives” have turned right and wrong upside down.

It isn’t that a woman’s reproductive system exists to bear and nurture children.
No.

It exists to keep the woman young, healthy, and desireable.

So the “goal” isn’t really to treat any disorder - just a vain attempt to fight time.

And once again, they won’t pay attention to the victims...the innocent children who have become a commodity.

Isn’t it bizarre?

Here we have this so-called “war on women” because, apparently...a woman’s very survival and health depends on free contraception. So fertility is BAD.

But!!!

We are also, simultaneously attempting to prolong women’s fertility indefinitely.

Liberal logic.

It’s like these scientists don’t go to the movies....this is a bad sci-fi/horror plot.

How will “natural” humans view the lab-grown humans?

If they can create eggs in the lab...can they design them according to order?

All sorts of scenarios stewing in my brain here.

Dean Koontz Frankenstein 3 book series will stop that stewing in your head and give you a snap shot of what could be.

Eerie!

If God interfered with and limited man’s choices, then it wouldn’t be free will.

Yes, I do. The same ‘logic would then dictate that this creator, by the example given of creation itself, would thereby have the ability to do whatever they willed, even what’... seems like a contradiction to us, right?

I believe He tells each of us what He wishes, that is why people think and behave differently, and why there are differing faiths.

I don’t choose to believe, I just believe because that’s the way He created me. If I wake up tomorrow believing as you do, fine with me.
