Thanks for letting me borrow your quote and comments. I wonder if there are ANY romney supporters who are proud to call him their candidate. I have yet to find any here; probably anywhere. Romney can’t beat obama and any intelligent non-partisan person can see that.

I think Obama will be hesitant to bring it up because that opens the door to Jeremiah Wright becoming an issue again.
Also, why would you think the economy would nose-dive in '13? Romney would be better than the economy than Obama.
I suppose I should have been more specific. Your reply does not address my comment, i.e. that you are full of crap. The crap to which I alluded was your assertion that those of us who have supported Newt were actually surreptitiously supporting Romney. In my case, and I suspect among the vast majority of other Newt supporters, that is unmitigated crap.
I have never supported Romney and am at the edge of despair at the likely prospect that he will be the nominee. For that, I blame Santorum for siphoning off conservative votes from the candidate who could have really made a difference: Newt Gingrich.

I'm thinking a Romney with a base that's deeply suspicious of him is better than an Obama who is unrestrained by any need to be re elected is a better scenario. I am a conservative who has no illusions of any heaven on earth.

Christians will know mormon baptism of the dead doesn't really change anything-it’s the arrogance of it because they are trying to change Christians, Catholics, Jews into Mormons, when THEIR choice was to be who they were. Mormons believe that their less than two hundred year old beliefs told by a 14 year old boy, are right and over 3000 years of traditional Judeo Christians beliefs are wrong and, like Islam, they believe the world world must be converted to mormonism.
Truth is determined by feelings; thus the truth changes as a persons feelings change, and it's scary to think the multitudes that will believe and follow whatever they are told to follow and believe, even someone mentally deranged.
Worse of all, they believe they are gods; lessor and greater. Mormons believe that God created multiple worlds and each world has people living on it. They also believe that multiple Gods exist but each has their own universe. We are only subject to our God and if we obtain the highest level of heaven we can become gods ourselves. I can see SNL skits with coneheads and John the Baptist arguing that he is not mormon, but christian on planet Kobal.

If you choose romney or obama, you apparently have not studied romney; they are the same beast, just different colors, I don’t mean physically. I don’t know if you are Christian (when I say that I don’t mean mormon-christian, I mean Christian) but I am told to use discernment. I think in some ways romney is worse than obama. We know what we get with obama. What happens when a mormon bishop who believes, like islam, mormons should convert the whole world and that he is fulfilling a prophesy.

How many times was George Romney elected governor of Michigan? Two? Three? Last I looked, Michigan wasn’t rampant with Mormons.

Mormons were at the forefront of the fight for traditional marriage in California...they weren’t promoting polygamy, but monogamy.

That Paul should not be listened to, because of his insistance that we not believe another gospel and that their prophet is correct and “who is Paul anyway, that he should be listened to.”

msnbc has already started to tell the mormon story. Fox will help romney, like they have been for months, but the rest of the media will protect obama and his pastor. 20/20, entertainment tonight, even sitcoms will start talking about mormons and their beliefs, not to mention liberal news outlets. Why would this change, UNLESS, they think romney is a liberal like obama and will do their bidding. Either way, romney is a loser.

I am not saying who, but suddenly, SOME posters have been suggesting the primary is over and now we have to support romney. We even had a post that read the primary is over and romney won. The primary is not over and if Newt and Santorum wants to go to the convention, they should. It took hours, but I went back over years of post and see we have romney supporters and mormons in hiding everywhere. I will not say who they are, as they apparently are embarrassed about their candidate, but anyone can do what I did and see who is playing games here. As one person said , romney has his foot soldiers in the mormon church doing all their work. That includes invading various blogs. If someone supported romney all along why hide it? Are they embarrassed by him or are they using democrat tactics to befriend freepers, saying they support Newt or someone else and now its over and we must all give up. Besides that romney never reached out to conservatives and will never, as we were told in the religious leaders meeting in January. We were also told we WILL vote for romney. Wow, that almost sounds likef dictator obama and his cohorts. He is so arrogant.

I don't know why I'm telling you this, but Santorum became increasingly more conservative as the years went by, and was far more conservative as a Senator representing the entire state than he had been as a Republican Congressman representing the heavily Democratic 18th District.
