"If SCOTUS overturns Obamacare and Obama ignores their ruling, it’ll be pretty clear at that point."

Doesn't matter. The vast majority of those facing penalties simply won't abide. If the Fedgov attempts to garnish wages, all hell, and I mean ALL HELL will break out. Watch.

Obamacare is going down, either through the mandate being ruled no go, and/or the entire bill being nullified, or the fact above that millions will not tolerate a penalty for buying a service.

The commies have over-stepped their ambitions. They used to understand that incrementalism was the best way to further their failed ideology - been doing it since FDR. They got overly ambitious when they found this smooth-talking half-black and thought they could groom him to push faster into the abyss they call fairness.

I firmly believe they blew it. The backlash is coming in November and if not, then down the road as he attempts a benevolent dictatorship. The socialist/commies chose the wrong empty suit. Obama has opened to many independent eyes. Seems the frog is ready to jump out the water before he boils.

“The Congress needs to SMACK him down. Provide funding for only the things Congress approves.”

The one problem with this idea is two words: Harry Reid. This cretin has enabled Obama in every way imaginable.

If Congress won't act, I will!"

The Constitution is charter of negative liberties, needs to be scrapped.

Obama tries to intimidate the Supreme Court while saying his intimidating comments were not intimidating.

In these cases, and others - like deeming that the Senate was not is session when it really was in order to make appointments - how can we tell the difference between a dictator and the current occupant of the White Crib?

What people also need to see is that the Soros/Obama machine is not just dismantling the rule of law through policies; they are also dismantling it through CRIMES.

For instance, the Soros machine at least twice threatened the media companies with SOMETHING if their on-air personalities reported on Obama’s eligibility problem - a problem that now includes forgery and fraud involving Obama’s birth certificate and draft registration, according to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The media heads told their on-air personalities the threat was FCC/FTC annihilation after the election if the issue was reported. That doesn’t really make sense, since reporting the threat could have kept Obama from being able to control the FCC/FTC. But whatever the threat was, it ended up meaning that if any person on TV or radio told the truth about the evidence, they and their families could be killed.

Hillary supporters are now telling the world about threats made to them in the 2008 primary and the timing of key Hillary supporters’ deaths that coincided with when they became potentially dangerous to Obama’s nomination.

So death threats and actual assassinations have fueled Obama’s rise to power. We’ve seen similar stuff with Obama saying that he was the only thing standing between the AIG execs and the pitchforks (right before allowing bonuses on the taxpayers’ dime...). Same thing with the DOJ dropping the voter intimidation case already won against the New Black Panther Party (which is now inciting racial attacks in the name of Trayvon, while putting up Wanted: Dead or Alive posters with a $10,000 reward for anybody who brings in George Zimmerman - and which has recently been found to be closely associated with Hezbollah). Same thing with conservative Chrysler dealers having their dealerships taken away and given to Obama supporters, and Chrysler investors having their secured status taken away and the money given instead to the unions.

I could go on and on, and someday before the election somebody needs to go on and on so we have a list of all this stuff for people to see in stark terms.

What people need to realize is that the takeover of the checks and balances have only been able to happen because of CRIMES. We are dealing with the mafia.

The crimes are by Obama, his czars, and his master, Soros. But they are also being done by the stooges at every level. Media stooges like those who edited a 911 call, blurred a photo of Zimmerman’s injuries, and claimed a racial slur where there was none, etc - all to demonstrate the left’s ability to create race riots on demand, at the very time that the eligibility issue was gaining attention and Obama made veiled threats to SCOTUS about the Obamacare decision.

Also government stooges at every level - such as whoever at the Selective Service Administration forged a draft registration for Obama, knowing that without a valid registration he wouldn’t even be eligible to be dog-catcher for the federal government. Or whoever at the HDOH altered the 1960-64 birth index to include legally nonvalid BC’s. Or Loretta Fuddy who committed misprision of fraud and forgery by failing to reveal that what Obama posted online as his BC was actually a forgery. Or the supervisors in John Brennan’s company who bypassed security protocols THREE TIMES to allow somebody to access (and somebody close to the investigation of the breach says it was actually to ALTER) Obama’s passport file.

Or stooges like the FBI people who told me that they don’t investigate document fraud. Or the Nebraska SOS who told us that we don’t need any legal documentation of eligibility because the media would never lie to us about somebody’s eligibility. Or Judge Malihi who first said that Obama needed to prove his eligibility and not consider that having been elected already proved eligibility - but then ruled Obama eligible even though no proof of eligibility had been submitted. Or the secretaries for the appeals court in that case which obfuscated so that the judge ended up deciding against the plaintiffs before the clerks had even allowed the plaintiffs to file anything.

The point is that all the institutions - media, government, law enforcement, courts, military - have violated the basic protocols and rules/laws that are intended to protect the integrity of this nation and its form of government. We know that the CONSERVATIVE media has done so because of threats, and it would be reasonable to assume that any whistle-blowers in any of the other institutions may have had the same kind of threats. Or they may have been more subtle - such as the illegal firing of inspector general Gerald Walpin (and 4 or 5 others) when he actually dared to do his job and found corruption by a top Obama supporter.

The lawlessness of this regime includes the stuff everybody can see - the czars, the refusals to defend DOMA in court, the takeovers, the pay-to-play, etc. It also includes covert crimes to stifle whistle-blowing and to falsify records.

That depends upon what the meaning of “Close” is.

How about his possible inauguration in January of 2013?

Can’t just put in all on the slimy Bozo. If we had a congress with some guts and respect for the constitution he would already have been impeached.

Yep, do we vote for the Democrat gun grabber or the GOP gun grabber?
As the motto goes, we need a choice not an echo.
I just got Richard “DREAM Act” Lugar’s kind supply of an absentee ballot in the mail today to assist me voting for the GOP in the May primary.
Unlike Dick, I live in Indiana. It is in pieces in my round file.

'The Congress doesn't count, the Congress doesn't mean anything, I am going to rule by decree and by administrative regulation.'

Since those are in quotes...I'd like to see the actual quote...and time stamp when he said it...

That clearly is an unbelievable statement that needs to be run daily during the election cycle...

I would call for impeachment but our gop lead congress wouldn't impeach Zero if he raped little children on prime-time network TV....after all to accuse him of being a pedophile, that would be racist...

Not much of an improvement policy-wise. But Obama’s takeover is not primarily through policy. His takeover is primarily through the mechanisms of tyranny.

I hope and pray that Romney is not our nominee. But when it comes time to vote we need to make sure that we consider not only the POLICIES at issue but also the MECHANISMS at issue.

Here are a couple of posts that explain more of what I mean:

Hitler’s atrocities were all made possible by the Enabling Act of 1933, where the Reichstag allowed Hitler to make laws - even unconstitutional laws - without any input from the Reichstag. The Reichstag voluntarily gave up its check on Hitler.

I’m sure they all thought they were the “good guy”.

Some thought the Reichstag was too limited and partisan to facilitate economic recovery. Some swallowed Hitler’s promise to recognize the Vatican. Some had already been rounded up as the supposed perpetrators of the Reichstag fire. All were surrounded by SS troops milling about as the vote was taken.

America needs to learn from history, or we are doomed to repeat it.

And while it seems fanciful in light of the safeguards built into our democracy and its institutions, it recognizes the threat posed by the president's policies and actions if left unchecked.

It is not 'fanciful'. Safeguards can be nullified and bypassed. If Zero gets re-elected, all bets are off, especially Constitutionally provided rights. We are on the precipice of a very dangerous time period in our Republic's history.

The list does not include the “Recess appointment” when there was no recess. Rest assured these people do not intend to follow the law or to leave office. If they can’t steal this election through election fraud they will foment racial unrest and declare martial law. Then they will negate the election and stay in office forever.

That was the purpose of the 2nd Amendment, to deal with this situation.

It has crept that way since 1989 at slower or faster pace under one POTUS and Congress or another, but never without steady encroachments.

Go back another hundred years. It began when Vladimer Lenin sent Julious and Armand Hammer to the USA to raise money for the Communists in Russia to help them overthrow the Tsar. Two of their early recruits were Arthur Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times, and Senator Albert Gore Sr., of Tenn.

Question: "Is Obama 'Dangerously Close To Totalitarianism'?"

Response: No.

Comment: He is merely an apostle of the formlessness that is now our lot in life. He does not have the ability to be a tyrant. The truly sad event was his election by a population whose main values have become: eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels, snoring and "The Games!" That is why the clown is in office.

RE:” I think the president is dangerously close to totalitarianism,” Napolitano opined. “A few months ago he was saying, ‘The Congress doesn't count, the Congress doesn't mean anything, I am going to rule by decree and by administrative regulation.’
“Now he's basically saying the Supreme Court doesn't count. It doesn't matter what they think. They can't review our legislation. That would leave just him as the only branch of government standing.”
Some would consider this borderline hyperbole. But this is, after all, a president who has said he can't wait for Congress to act and will govern by executive order and regulations if necessary. He has questioned the Supreme Court's “unprecedented” review of ObamaCare

His argument is slightly different in the two cases. In the Obama-care case he is saying that the Pelosi congress SHOULD trump the SCOTUS who should not overturn any of the laws they passed. In the present case he is running against congress.

It is an election year. He is telling voters that he stands with them against the ‘conservative’ congress and the ‘conservative’ court’(and oil companies and the rich....). The only question is what side voters will choose.

He and Democrats did manage to make the Citizen's United decision unpopular, as most voters only know what he said about it at the SOTU.
