Three female relatives were beaten by a group of about 20 attackers when ordering dinner for their family Friday evening at a Burger King in the city's Chatham neighborhood, police and witnesses said.

The women deserved it. It was only a 16-year old child that asked them to leave. And when they didn’t, the young boy was afraid and I guess the “flee or fight” thing kicked in. The photo shows the woman wearing a red cap. I imagine that the young child figured she was a “Blood” and was there to kill him.
It’s sad that these young children have to be in such fear of their lives even in a Burger King.

Years ago I learned (from a master), how to use a cane for defense. Back then I thought it somewhat silly, after all, I was young and didn’t need a cane. Years later, at the wonderful age of 65, I now carry a cane, even though I don’t need one (yet) ... just to protect myself.
