Tulsa police reportedly make 2 arrests in North Tulsa shootings

Tula, Okla. – Two arrests have been made in the North Tulsa shootings that left three African-American men dead, FOX23 reports.

The Tulsa Police Department sent out a press release early Sunday stating that two males had been apprehended.

"Within 24 hours of its formation, the task force "Operation Random Shooter" has completed its mission. At 1:47am, officers apprehended suspects of the North Tulsa shootings that occurred on Good Friday.

Jake England, 19 year old white male, and Alvin Watts, 32 year old white male, have been arrested and will be charged with 3 counts of murder and 2 counts of shooting with intent to kill.

There’s some sort of reference to England being of Native American descent on his Facebook, which certainly is likely based on being in Oklahoma, and of course the posted picture.

I’m thinking maybe so. IMO, the reason the media jumped all over the younger guy and started profiling him was because of his use of the “N” word in that one post about the guy that killed his father (except that he doesn’t actually use the “N” word, he writes it as “n___r.” Since that “proves” that he’s a racist, and that “proves” the killings are racially motivated, the MSM gets to call in the “Revs”, Jackson and Sharpton, again. Just in the nick of time for their redemption, as their narrative about Zimmerman/Martin was making THEM all look so stupid and arrogantly racist.

A lot of people on this website, and around the country, are sick to death of the race card and deliberate efforts to incite racial divisions and violence. It’s easier for them, too, to jump all over the Jake England story, because “ZOMG! He’s half Native American AND his father was murdered by a black guy!” That sounds like a potentially successful anti-race card. So there you go.

As long as the media spins into overtime about Jake England and the possiblility of racially-motivated hate killings, the anti-race card may cause it to blow up in their faces...again. Especially if, as I’m thinking, Alvin Watts is the actual shooter...Alvin Watts who may be the MSM’s perfect example of a white redneck “cracker” who actually had an anti-Obama post on his facebook page. I wonder if any MSM “reporters” even managed to copy that particular post before Watts’ facebook page, along with England’s, was taken off-line.

My post had nothing to do with the media, it was an internal argument with two posters who were pretending to be morally superior to other FReepers.

I don't like the idea that I must put an asterisk after any post about an alleged white-on-black crime -- an asterisk that basically bleats "But killing innocent people is wrong (gee, who knew); and "I'M not a racist."
My view is that FReepers
(a) understand right from wrong
(b) are not racists
and (c) are not in need of being lectured about (a) and (b).

Unless the MSM just mans up and labels them as they are, there is going to be problems.

The Native community may not like being labeled as *white*, and the whites are not going to like everyone who is not outright black being labeled *white*.
