Breaking on Fox
From the depths I have cried out to you, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplication.
If you, Lord, were to mark iniquities, who, O Lord, shall stand?
But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered. I trust in the Lord;
My soul trusts in his word.
My soul waits for the Lord,
more than watchmen wait for the dawn. More than watchmen wait for the dawn, let Israel hope in the Lord.
For with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
May the Lord give his family comfort in their time of loss.
Honestly, I thought he was already dead.
Yepper. It’s no wonder that Chris Wallace defected to the conservatives. I would too, and change my last name in the process.
May he rest in peace.
Hopefully, the big guy is setting him straight.
Sadly, you can read comments posted on most internet forums, blogs and news stories, and see the same kind of mindless venom. It's everywhere, not just on political and news sites. You can see it no matter what the topic.
I don't know if there really is a seething, angry bitterness lurking inside most people, or if people just reveal their inner bratty child due to the veil of internet (presumed) anonymity.
Whatever the reason, it just seems more and more people use the internet to publicly share the dark sides of their nature. All over the world, it seems people are not uplifting each other. We are tearing each other down.
Otherwise, Adof is keeping a spot warm for his arrival at the eternal slow bar-b-que.
Yep. I remember reading a blog that was celebrating when J.D. Salinger died and claiming he’s in hell for all the juvenile delinquency he inspired. You can find it for just about any public figure.
Indeed, Mike Wallace “the power”, as opposed to Mike Wallace “a man”, is a totaly different issue. Mike Wallace “the power” is a piece of garbage I am not missing.
I am not into this crap, as in, Mike who?
Not just for public figures, either. Some kind of fury is abroad in the land and shows itself anywhere on the internet where people can post their opinions. Music, sports, fashion, you name it. It's a safe bet some will get nasty before too long.
Rest In Peace, Mike, and wouldn’t it be a hoot if St. Peter met you at the pearly gates with a whole sheaf of gotcha questions :)
Yep... just another dead presstitute who would expect to be rescued by american forces yet set and watch them die for ratings..... glad he’s gone ! Hope it hurt !
On Easter, yet! Literally the time to make a judgement about a persons worth. Even Charles Manson will deserve a respectful doubt.
I would guess that the guiding principle here is, if you wouldn't put in on your Facebook page, don't put it here...
How about this guiding principle: if you wouldn't say it at a dinner table with your bishop and parish pastor (substitute equivalents for other religions), then it probably doesn't belong online.
I find it fascinating, and disgusting, to watch the RINO contingent push a religio-decency-shaming-PC group condemnation of anyone who points out that the person who died was a rabid Leftist who openly declared he would not warn American soldiers if they were going to be ambushed and who prostituted himself to the liberal agenda and the betrayal of the public trust for fifty years.
Beware scolding infiltrators, Freepers. Note when they can’t hold back their collectivist “we,” “us” and “our” statements. They are firmly determined to create a “Conservative TM” brand label to enable Leftist horror by denying the power to speak against it.
It is a soft war, a war of “disappointments” and “sadness” and chiding and tsk tsking and pseudo-Christian turn-the-other-cheek crap. It is psychological sabotage, and it is deadly - and those who practice it mean it to be deadly. RINOs are not irritants - RINOs are traitors.
Mike Wallace used the power of the press to betray American’s understanding of the truth, and because of that, America is better off now that he’s dead.
And that’s the truth.
You want a nice eulogy? Live a good life.
Yes, I DO hate left-wing propagandists.
You have a problem with this?

Rest in peace Mr. Wallace.
so be two faced...who cares.
Did he make any movies? Maybe he can bump My Bodyguard from the rotation for a while.
Wait till Jane Fonda dies.
“He was Jewish. I dont think he celebrated Easter.”
Oh well... I’m not and I am.
Family, mass, nice meal, some small gifts for the children in a basket filled with candies and a prayer thanking the Lord for allowing me a chance for everlasting life if I accept Jesus as my Lord and savior. Happy Easter, spread the Good word . He is risen.
Scroll up. Post #118.
For a liberal, Morgan Freeman hit the nail on the head in that interview. I always thought he might be conservative but holding back because conservatives don’t make it in Hollywood. He is an aviator and walks in some similar circles that I do and people really enjoy him and his love of aviation but for some reason he comes across as liberal when he does so many conservative good deeds within aviation.
Reason #1 that most troops hated the "On the ground" reporters on the battlefield.
“All over the world, it seems people are not uplifting each other. We are tearing each other down.”
Maybe because we prefer to hold people accountable for their actions and you are the Dr. Spock type that prefers to be too lazy for discipline?
“Wait till Jane Fonda dies.”
They’ll need to bury her in an Olympic sized pool to hold all the piss.
Really, how is it that you are holding Mike Wallace accountable? There is only One who is capable holding him accountable right now, so complaining about Wallace on an Internet website today only makes you look small.
RIP Mike Wallace-— 93 for thee but not for me... puhlease Dear Lord beam me up before the first 9 rolls around.
93 years on earth...212000000000000000000000000000000000000
And just what "good person" might you be talking about? Certainly not Mike Wallace.
THAT was impressive.
Please fellow FReeps—lets not wish or send people to hell.
Let God be the final Judge-— let us remember a current Ca. congresswoman most vocally sending us TP’ers to hell with her words as such. Rise above that sort of nasty...
Chode, the real irony here, is that Wallace wasn’t even close to being amongst the worst.....just shows you how far we have fallen.
I agree that no matter how correct you think you are, using a little restraint on the day someone dies out of respect even if not for the victim but for the surviving family who , regardless of what that person was, are actually grieving for the loss is the right thing to do.
Trashing the dead on the day of their death serves no meaningful purpose other than to lower the standard of civility and political discourse in this country. I don’t believe in absolving the dead of their wrongs or ensuring that they are notbeatified, whatever that means but
going off decorum pretty much exemplifies everything that is broken about our culture in addition to being extremely insensitive to loved ones in mourning,
They call it 60 minutes but they keep coming back.
Morley Safer is only 80? That dude looked 80...30 years ago!
RIP, condolences to his family. Agree or disagree he was an icon in television and had an impact on the world. Very few can live up to that.
Wallace? Sounds Irish!
I didnt know he was still alive. I guess he outlived Huntley and Brinkley?
Georgey boy Soros will provide entertainment soon enough.
Nope. I'm not buying the post-mortem bashing. It's cheap, it's disrespectful of the FAMILY of the deceased and it's no better than DU.
That in itself OUGHT to give posters here pause. Apparently, to some that's a distinction that just doesn't matter any more. That is what's sad.
