Whitney Houston's body was ravaged by scars, cuts and burns when she died, autopsy details showed.

Years of drug and alcohol abuse had left the "Bodyguard" star with a damaged heart and liver, a hole in her nose and 11 front teeth missing.

She also had a needle mark on one arm and was high on a cocktail of nine drugs when she died in a hotel bath in Los Angeles on Feb. 11, 2012.

She climbed into a 160-degF "bath" and drowned. People who are awake and coherent would immediately jump out. She didn't even notice.

I was a fan of hers when she was a good singer and a beautiful woman. She just fell apart.... nothing left.

It appears she had just done some lines of cocaine in the bathroom, and then from a standing position passed out and FELL into a tub filled with scalding water, but was too intoxicated from everything to get herself out. She fell FACE DOWN into the tub.

She didn’t climb in. There were contusions and bruising elements that show she HIT hte tub from a standing position so she must have fainted and fallen in. She was found face down.

BTW, if you read the article carefully, some of the "scars" are from operations and breast implants, and some of the burns and skin problems were from the last bath and resuscitation efforts. Those don't count against her "deadly lifestyle".

Nonetheless, she destroyed herself with drugs and abuse. Such a sad waste of beauty and talent.

I promise, CPR is very traumatic to the body. More so when its first responders in a bathroom and there are indications of overdose. The body gets banged around like you wouldnt believe, jerking it out of the tub, hammering away on her chest, and injections of all kinds of stuff to get her heart going and to counteract whatever drug shes taken. Intubation hurts her throat and and the use of a defibrillator burns her if enough shocks are administered.

And none if this works 90 percent of the time in witnessed full arrest.

The fact is a (presumably) Conservative Governor ordered flags to be flown at half-staff for a pop singer/diva who died as a result of long term damage caused by drug addiction.

If you stop and think about it for a little while, you might begin to understand why this might chaff a retired Sergeant's ass just a bit.

On that note, I leave you and the other fellows who dig singing divas and disco to celebrate your fallen heroes accomplishments.

The point is, she for one did make a lot of money, hence she mad a lot of money for others too.

That in and of its self is a contributing factor that none of us here will ever match. At least to the extent she did.

Secondly, the fact that she is a fallen Human Being is cause for reflection, not scorn (criticism as you called it beandog) and should be a lesson for all of us and all that wish to follow in her foot steps, I hope they heed the warning signs.

People who want to emulate her should be aware for sure, but criticizing her on Easter Sunday when we're all no different (in terms of being fallen)?
