Obamacare Has Nothing to Do With Health Care! It's New Taxes and Tax Collection in 2,700 Pages

RUSH: Sarah in Kansas City, Kansas, great to have you on the program. I'm glad you waited. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. I wanted to comment real quickly on your point about the popularity of the IRS, and I think this is really amazing that Obama's having the IRS lead up this health care program. I'll tell you why. Historically, in terms of implementing coercive regulation, Americans are terrified of the IRS. And I think by doing this, it might be a nice reality check for people who think that this health care plan is this fluffy cotton candy plan to go, "Holy smokes! This is pure infringement of individual liberty."

originalRUSH: Well, it's the same thing that hit me. But, to be honest here, this actually is nothing new. The IRS has been a part of Obamacare since the first days they started writing it. This is nothing new that happened this week. This isn't new. You probably know this. But for the rest of the audience: They didn't just decide last week to take $500 million and divert it to the IRS. This has been in the health care bill from the get-go. It's in the 2,700 pages. Obamacare is just a new tax, folks. A series of new taxes. That's all it is. It is not a health care bill. It's disguised as a health care bill to expand the size, the reach, and the scope of government and to have it as intimately involved in everybody's life as possible.

It has nothing to do with providing people health care.

It isn't going to succeed at that.

It's not about providing everybody with health insurance. It's going to destroy the private sector health market. And if you think getting health insurance and treatment from the DMV is something you want to do, that's what you face here. This is not about that. It is about a way to tax people who don't have insurance and to tax the employers who don't provide coverage. This is about collecting money from people for health care who are not spending any money on health care. And that's why the IRS is there: To enforce these new taxes -- or fines or levies -- if you don't follow the rules and buy a policy. That's why the IRS is there. That's why this has nothing to do with health care. It's taxes and collection in 2,700 pages.

Even if it’s ruled a tax it will be ruled unconstitutional. It would be a tax on nothing. Even a payroll tax is a tax on something, it’s a tax on payroll. The Government has no authority to pass a tax for merely existing in the US.

No Repubs voted for it, a few Dems voted against it. It passed by a handful of votes.
They don’t have enough cells to hold all of us who have no intention of paying more taxes for nothing,

Trojan horse fully expecting the outer shell to be discarded (by the USSC) while leaving the reason for the passage - choking control over all people, business, commerce, state govts. The intent is to crash the capitalist system to put in place under emergency EO the Bill Ayers replacement.
