Big Gov't: After foisting its 2,700-page health law on the public, the White House now plans to enforce its detested mandate by siccing the IRS on unwilling citizens. All that stands in the way is "the consent of the governed."
Back in 2009, when ObamaCare was being debated in Congress, then-House Minority Leader John Boehner warned that the takeover of the health care system could only lead to armies of enforcers from the Internal Revenue Service forcing Americans to buy insurance of the government's choosing.
Boehner recognized that this so-called reform would inevitably trigger major public resistance.
Boehner was mocked as an alarmist by Obama's Democratic allies. But in reality, he was right, and nobody knew it better than the Obama administration itself.
That's why the behemoth ObamaCare bill sneakily left out the detail that it intended to hire 500 Internal Revenue Service agents to enforce the unpopular mandate, while 300 other IRS operatives would be added to push "free" benefits to the indigent to ensure their complete dependence on the state.
Cost: Half a billion dollars, paid for off-the-books by taxpayers through a massive $1 billion Health and Human Services slush fund that got tucked into the bill.

anyone else feel a noose around his neck?
“Legitimate” or not, the ‘army of IRS Enforcers’ can, and will, make life miserable for us ‘Great Unwashed’, as only the IRS can do....
Remember the standard Nuremberg defense. “I only did what I was told.”
No but “legitimate” is such an ephemeral concept when your bank account is frozen, all your checks are bouncing and you are accumulating hundreds of dollars a month in NSF fees and your mortgage, if you’ve kept it current, falls into arrears. Then you can have a stimulating discussion as to what is or is not “legitimate”.
” The Army of IRS enforcers is bigger than you think. “
And never forget the Force Multiplier of the legions of ‘nosy neighbors’ (everybody knows at least one) who derive great joy from denouncing their scofflaw neighbors to the ‘authorities’...
Je ne suis pas present ensuite !
Vive le offshore!
We’re going from presumed innocent to presumed guilty..., which is the state of mind for the average libtard.
” And never forget the Force Multiplier of the legions of nosy neighbors (everybody knows at least one) who derive great joy from denouncing their scofflaw neighbors to the authorities...”
Viva Le Politboro!
So, do they all get fired if the bill is stuck down.
The Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006 amended the Internal Revenue Code to provide more incentives for private citizens to turn in tax evaders. The new law requires the Internal Revenue Service to establish a Whistle Blower Office. This office will report on an annual basis to the Secretary of the Treasury and Congress.
Actually both ways. Although the latter is muzzle fire. But they will commit the atrocity first..they have to, to set an example, it’s inevitable. Innocents refusing to be fined or jailed for un-Constitutional mandate will be killed. Rubicon will be crossed. Hence, open season. 4,000 is tiddly winks. And those short barreled SBR class III Remington shotguns that were ordered special for them will be nice bartering pieces.
