Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman has apparently launched a website—TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com—to relay a message thanking his supporters, and to collect donations via PayPal for his living and defense expenses. The site had been down intermittently on Monday afternoon.
"I am the real George Zimmerman," a message on the site begins. "On Sunday February 26th, I was involved in a life altering event which led me to become the subject of intense media coverage. As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without any intermediaries."

I was listening to Hannity today. He said he has spoken to George Zimmerman personally and that really is his website.
Roger that. OK. This one looks legit, but let’s also keep an eye out for the scums. There’s always a few.
I wonder how long before they force paypal (or paypal does it willingly) to shut down and freeze his account.
The more people give, and the higher the amount in the account the more likely paypal will do it.
Looking at the site, I feel sad for Zimmerman, because it seems to reveal that he’s not getting much outside support, so he’s winging it. It looks like the kind of site I’d create, and I don’t know how to create websites.
Additionally, for legal reasons - and to protect oneself from charges of fraud - personal funds and money for a legal defense should not be co-mingled. The two should be solicited in different places, and money for legal defense should go to a separate, dedicated bank account. None of this is a criticism of Zimmerman; he’s got enough to deal with right now. But I hope he starts getting more support from, e.g., some good lawyers & other professionals.

You’re right. The racial component is definitely front and center. Sort of hysterical really. I bet 99% of the screamers were screeching “Arrest Him” “Arrest Him” only after hearing the name ‘Zimmerman’. Surprise Surprise...our diversity finally paid off: Zimmerman is Hispanic but, a new ethnicity has been born!: white hispanic! bwaaaahahahahaha
In all seriousness though, I think Mr. Zimmerman will get some heavy hitting legal representation even if on the ‘back burner’. It’s a classic case of self-defense. They have ruined his life and surely there are many that should pay; starting with the lynch mob headed by Spike Lee and the justice brothers of course.
So many issues involved. Hope the rose colored glasses are coming off some of the loony libs. Doubtful but there is hope.

I recently heard that zimmerman led a protest against a white person who was son of a police officer who beat up a black person. The white person eventually got charged.
Doesn’t this prove Zimmerman is not a racist? The irony is that the sister of the black person Zimmerman got justice for, now wants Zimmerman jailed for protecting himself.
