Public school teachers are being told to talk about the Trayvon case. If we have just one student in each classroom who knows the facts and is confident to speak the truth, we have access (through that person) to inform people who may never see anything but what the MSM wants them to hear. I've played secretary and assembled the info that we Freepers know and put it into a format that a student can read, to prepare for that opportunity. The content will be in the first post so links will be clickable (hopefully).
Please spread this information far and wide. Add your own links to it if you like, or take bits and pieces - whatever is most helpful, as long as it's kept accurate.

It would have been easy for the police to check with the store to see whether or not Trayvon was there, yet I haven't heard anything about that.
Its self defense, its what I tell my kids regardless of any liberal propaganda they were forced to repetitiously chant at school.
One of my daughters had this discussion in class last week. She got SO ticked off at the idiocy of her classmates she almost walked out of the class.
Then again, she's always been taught that guns are tools, not toys, so she respects them while realizing they do have their uses.
Her senior project was on concealed carry on campus....the PRO side of course. :-)

The 911 calls are still available on the Internet, although not in the City of Sanford website any longer.
I am convinced that no matter what happens, there will be riots, and I am particularly concerned. My dear husband was caught in the middle of the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles and now works part time in Oakland. It's supposed to rain for several days in Oakland, for which I am very thankful.
IIRC, it was about 4 minutes 20 seconds between Z’s first call and the shot. Z reported M was walking and running during that time. Looking at a map of the apartment complex, it should only have taken M a couple minutes to get home if he’d walked straight there. It’s obvious he back tracked on Z. He made the choice rather than go home to instead confront Z. Did M’s gf say she heard him ask Z if he had a problem?

I spent one whole day discussing the Terri Schiavo case with my classes. I still have kids (now grown) come up and say they remember that day. It was an eye opener to them.
Mine did a project on the death penalty... the PRO side, of course.
My understanding is it was NOT 911, rather a non-emergency police dispatch number that GZ called.
