Today the Journal Sentinel is launching an interactive page that will allow you to explore contributions to candidates and political action committees in the gubernatorial recall election on June 5.
With it, you can compare campaign contributions to any of the candidates or PACs that have raised money in the recall election through January, which was the last filing deadline. We will update the data as committees submit additional filings.
After you choose two committees you would like to compare, interactive maps will show how much money each candidate received from each state.
For instance, if you choose the political action committee "Friends of Scott Walker," you'll see that Gov. Scott Walker received more than $6 million from Wisconsin donors, followed by nearly $1.1 million from Texas and more than $900,000 from Missouri.
In addition to the state-by-state view, there is a dropdown menu to see zip code level data -- if you choose Wisconsin, you can see total donations given to candidates or committees by zip code.
Moving down the page, you can see breakdowns on in-state vs. out-of-state fundraising for each committee, a timeline of contributions since Jan. 1, 2011, and total contributions by type of donor (individual, business, or PAC).
At the bottom of the page is a list of the top 5 donors for the committees you choose.

Wisconsin Recall Monetary Contributions ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
A public service from a publication supporting the recall if you want to see who’s contributing to Walker
Will the JS also list who contributes to Falk and Barrett, particularly the unions? It would be refreshing for a main stream media outlet to pretend to be fair and balanced.
otoh....if you can, donate to SW...he needs the boost....I am sure he can pull this out and wouldn't we love to see the look on the rats and leftists faces when he does...
but donate on your own...don't participate with the JScrap...
A question....does this mean only the total amount that Friends of Scott Walker gives to the recall campaign fund will be public, or does it mean that individual donors to Friends (like me) will be published?
Just wondering...will have to fortify the compound more if we are “outed”. ( only half way kidding)
