Rick Santorum worked his heart out and without much money. He did all he could against the Romney machine. I think Romney was beginning to overtake him in Pa. and that would not be good for Rick’s future politically if he lost there.

I suspect he’s dropping out and not go through the embarrasement of Willard the liberal beating him in PA.
Willard started his carpetibombing lying TV ads a few weeks ago in the state. No way he has the money to counterattack.
Same thing happened to Newt. Willard is buying the nomination. He pays for his endorsements and he destroys his opposition with his own bank account. Accept the obvious and move on. Willard is the GOP’s sacrificial lamb for Obama. Santorum was part of the establishment that was in it to help Willard get the nomination. If not, he would have gotten out months ago and let Newt take on Willard one-on-one. Newt’s conservatism and ability to express himself would have won him the day. Would have won him the GOP nomination. It’s too late now. Karl Rove and his RINO gang will get their way. A Willard loss to Barry Soreto in Nov is their goal.
Look at this way..we now have an opportunity to see Miitens can do against 1 conservative in the next primary. This may be a blessing in disguise.

Just watched his speech. No mention of Romney, no endorsement. Tells me no deal for VP.
I am so ticked. Fox is not mentioning Newt in the race and said “Now it is between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.” WTF????? Brit Hume wished so hard it was true on Sunday when Newt was on with him. Then Newt corrected him and said no. He is going all the way to Tampa. Fox is shameless!!!!!!!
Megyn Kelly went so far as to state that Santorum said he would support the “presumptive nominee.” He did not make such a statement...he didn't mention who he would now support.
It was a beautiful speech...and in the end, meaningless......
He did not endorse anyone. I understand he called Romney and conceded to him before he talked today. “But we are not done fighting. We will continue to fight for the Americans who gave us air under our wings.”

I was a Democrat but the party moved left to Socialism. I am now a Republican but they are now the old Democrats so it looks like I’m changing over to Independent. Romney is no better than Obama and I feel that both parties have sold the American People out to a Socialist government.

If Newt had not been buried in negative ads in Iowa and Florida, Santorum would have been out long ago. All Santorum did was pull the evangelicals away from Newt and make it easier for Romney, by splitting the conservative vote.
Ed Rollins reporting on FAUX News that Romney was getting ready to give Rick the Gingrich treatment in Pennsylvania and to the tune of 9 million dollars.
It was a video that could not be disputed for its voracity, Rollins said, because it reminded Pennsylvania that Rick was done there and was rejected. Paraphrasing but that’s the gist.
Rollins seems to be in a snit when informed that Newt reports that he will not suspend!!!!

A couple points:
1) Whatever I have thought of Romney, I have never and do not now believe that he despises his country and it’s founding and is actively trying to destroy it.
2) One constant I have seen in Romney’s past is that he wants to do and be what he must in order to win. At this juncture, thankfully for us, what will win now is conservatism. If Romney has to be the most conservative ever to win, that he will be. I’d look for him also to pick a strident conservative for VP.
3) Finally, remember that God Himself used a jackass donkey for His purposes and spoke through him. If you think he can’t use MR, think again.
