You can vote for the GOP-e picks, as they count on you drones who can't vote your conscience. So long as you vote (R), you don't care what asshole liberal the GOP-e shoves up your a$$. Sorry....I ain't votin' for Obama, but I ain't votin' for his "half-brother-type", either.

Bravo! I feel your passion. The sooner most Conservatives stop voting for the GOP-e Statist, the sooner they will stop trying to run in the GOP. Never again will I vote for a RINO.

Rove, Mitt, the GOP-e are sitting in back rooms, laughing and probably saying, "look at these redneck Conservatives, where else will they go? Ah, these Conservatives are so easily fooled and herded to do our bidding." ,

I pray Mitt gets politically slaughtered, along with the GOP-e.

Gee, what a great strategy THAT is (”not voting for the Rino”).

Hope you enjoy the next four years of Bambi.

Now, can the rest of us PLEASE get to the business of electing a REPUBLICAN (RINO or not?)and pulling the country back from the brink?

Thanks.

The press has been ignoring him because he makes a good impression when people see him, but I don’t think they’ll be able to do that now.

The press has been ignoring him because he's won a total of two states.

Good grief.

Nope. I just dove into the thread and said what needed to be said about Santorum.

Crass political punk posing as a patriot.

Yes, thanks. I did some Googling to verify our opinions;

By not officially terminating a campaign, a candidate can continue to raise money to retire debt. A candidate would not be allowed to “terminate” their campaign — in the technical sense with the FEC — unless they paid off their obligations and debts.

In general, candidates who suspend their campaigns get to keep any delegates they’ve won, while candidates who drop out have to forfeit certain delegates, usually statewide delegates.

One interesting aside: Santorum remains on the ballot in Pennsylvania and Delaware on April 24, so he’ll still get votes. But how many?

Couldn’t agree more. Santorum did the right thing for the country and now we must too.

We simply cannot allow four more years of Obamunism. It’s not possible for that to happen and save Our Republic.

We need to accept the choices and move forward.

The stakes are far too high for all of us and our nation’s future.

Get behind Romney or see this nation put asunder. You only have to sleep at the wheel when your freedoms are taken away once.

You won’t get them back.

“Suspending” his campaign has something to do with maintaining control over the delegates he’s won so far....or something on that order.

Romney is not the guy to undo any of the damage that Obama and his administration have done. Romney can go to h377 - I'll write myself in and deal with Obama for another 4 years before I cast a vote for Romney.

Conservatives need to focus and be rabid when it comes to the House and Senate races. We need true Conservatives with cojones to call the administration to task. Vote out the RINOS.

Romney is not the guy - if anything he will further deteriorate the larger impression the undecideds have of Conservatism and the GOP. I can see the campaign ads now: "See, we told you how bad the Conservatives would screw things up" - we will all pay the price of his ignorance and liberal tendencies.

Is there any way, at the convention, for Sarah to get the nomination? Could the rules bend for her?

"Not sure why you think “suspended” is such a poor description when it has not in fact, been “ended” or “terminated”."

It's a poor description because its deliberately inaccurate. Santorum was running for president. That's what his "campaign" was about. He is no longer running which can only mean the campaign is over. Not closing out the campaign with the FEC to pay off bills or whatever is irrelevant.

This afternoon, I'd not had the benefit of hearing Santorum's announcement, only news of what it said. You were crying about his choice of words and how they were somehow dishonest and misleading. Having now seen the text of his announcement, your complaints are all the ore absurd. Here's what he said

"We made a decision over the weekend that while the presidential race for us is over, and I will suspend my campaign effective today, we are not done fighting."

He said it's "over". What's not clear or up front about that?

“It’s a choice between a socialist and a Communist now. America had it within itself to make a positive change, but enough people chose the charlatan with the gold tooth. Our education system has produced dupes aplenty in both parties, and we as a people have strayed far from God and our founding. IDK, do we deserve better? I think not.”

Bob,

True and see how Romney is so much worse, BHO declares what he is but Romney hides. It’s sickening and so hard to ignore.
How is person suppose to vote for him? No. I am not losing
my soul for his “yes” to evil.

I offered the pain of yesterday to God. We know He’ll use our sufferings, big and small.

God bless you,

You are a good man, Sipio. I will be voting against the Punk, and I’m comfortable with that, but still very disgusted. I don’t think the Romney people realize the extent to which he is loathed by informed conservatives like myself. Bob

Bob,

Ditto to you. Tuesday was really rough, it’s so painful to
even think about. I started wondering, maybe it is
Newt?

I believed all this time it was Santorum who is most for life. Is something not known yet going to happen?

I need a drink... wait, it’s morning...
