To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

“Yeah, I’m at a loss of what to do at this point too. The only thing I do know is that I will vote. And it won’t be for Romney OR Obama. How in the heck did we get here???”

A vote for anyone else IS a vote for Obama.

As disagreeable as Romney is, I don’t believe he wants to destroy the country, put hard-left nitwits on the Supreme Court and have the Government control everything you do from the moment you wake up to the moment it allows you to go to sleep.

He’s not the candidate I would want, but HE’S NOT OBAMA.

To pout and say “we’re not gonna vote!” ensures we’re going to get NONE of what we want. If Romney gets elected we get SOME of what we want... namely, Obama out of office.

Well said. I agree with you.

I’ve been all over this in my mind every which way from Sunday. Strongly considered not voting at all for the first time in my life. Mad as hell at the GOP, haven’t given them a penny in years, only donate to individual candidates.

BUT and it’s a HUGE BUT....the idea of a two-term Obama is unthinkable. It’s time to separate our love for the nation from our angst against the GOP. Their time is coming. But as for our nation, I fear it can’t survive another Obama term, even if the ‘Pubs have both chambers of Congress.

Sorry I thought that since you Like a narcissist like OBamney you would pay attention better if I talked about you.

How about this then. If I vote for Romney, I will have the same thing as if I vote for Ubama.

You can lie to yourself and believe that a pro-abortion, pro-gun grabbing, pro-homosexual like Romney is somehow magically better than the pro-abortion, pro-gun grabbing, and pro-homosexual Obama.

Is that better!?

I will vote for someone who supports and defends the constitution of the United States.

I am sick of this, “Yeah but if you dont vote for the guy that wipes his feet on the constitution then that means you are really supporting the guy that uses it for toilet paper.”

Screw them both. No more compromising my values.

You are right. Rinos don’t win elections. Unfortunately, independents do. If conservatives alone had the numbers to win, we wouldn’t have obama now, would we?

I will not bow to the GOP e either! We need to organize a massive write- in of one conservative. Newt or Santorum would work for me. The rally around the eventual nominee extortion is not working.

Hey, if we're going to write in a candidate, how about Sarah Palin?

Santorum, you weasel, why couldn’t you have stuck out the process until the convention? Now, you’ve assured the RINO Romney will win.

If you please, bear with this long rant:

I don't know...maybe it was about coming to terms with the fact that his young daughter is dying and he realizes that while a political career is fleeting, family is forever.

Or maybe it was because you cannot Google his last name "Santorum" without linking to a definition of the crap-semen-blood mix that comes out of a man's rectum after anal sex.

Perhaps it was the outright lies--from BOTH parties--calling Senator Santorum (perhaps the most anti-abortion senator in our nation's history) pro-abortion, because he supported fellow Republican (at the time) Arlen Spector. Before Santorum had a family, he, as so many ignorant people do, may have identified as personally pro-life/publicly pro-choice. BUT when he became a father and senator, he was as anti-abortion and pro-family as a politician could be. He talked the talk and walked it.

Perhaps he dropped out for countless other reasons, but I think what really happened was he realized this election is all THEATER, nothing more than a DOG AND PONY SHOW to elect President Kang or President Kodos(that's an old Simpson's reference). The morality of most of the US's citizens is in in the gutter; and all they care about is "When do I get mine." Not the future, not life, not a strong nation, just the here and now.

No matter how hard Santorum tried(and succeeded on a shoe string budget), both parties lied about him, defamed his character, insulted his family and much worse (like they did to Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Gingrich, etc, etc.). Don't you see the pattern?

THE GAME IS & ALWAYS HAS BEEN RIGGED!

Good luck to Gingrich, if he's going all the way to the end! If he actually wins the nom, I'll vote for him. But I know Romney's the Republican man, and no way can I vote for him.

This was a done deal and has been since McCain lost the election 3 1/2 years ago. It's forever the "next" establishmant man's turn in the GOP.

I won't stay home. I'll vote down the Conservative line this election in every race. But if there is no conservative for president, I'd write in Tom Hoefling or the Constitution Party candidate. That may not stop Obama, but it's done deal anyway.

/back to lurk mode

Many even conservative patriotic folks do not yet seem to realize . . .

there is NO “winning” . . . particularly from honest votes in an honest election.

It is all predecided, SElected, chosen, appointed.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

1883: What part has Skull & Bones played in our elections? Professor Carroll Quigley was President Clinton’s mentor, and in Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World In our Time the professor revealed that William C. Whitney (S&B) and others, in the late 19th century, developed a plan to control both major political parties through financial contributions and have the two main parties alternate power so the public would think it had a choice.[7] Professor Quigley said Whitney’s plan lasted about 16 years, and after that, the “Eastern Establishment” (power elite) moved the Democrat and Republican presidential candidates toward the political center:

Berit’s comment: These historical facts are not included in American social studies! But it’s not too late to take a look at the roots and rulers behind today’s political, economic, cultural and spiritual transformation. These handpicked leaders were chosen and groomed for their future roles as single-minded, pragmatic globalist change agents. According to their strengths and ideological compliance, they are placed where they’re needed — in banks, the media, U.S. Congress, government bureaucracies, etc. They despise our faith and values! In recent decades, potential young leaders have been brought together to be trained and tested at every UN Conference and many other global events.

29.”The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self createdscreen....At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties.” New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, 1922

37.”Today the path of total dictatorship in the United States can be laid by strictly legal means, unseen and unheard by the Congress, the President, or the people. Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government - a bureaucratic elite.” Senator William Jenner, 1954

33.”For a long time I felt that FDR had developed many thoughts and ideas that were his own to benefit this country, the United States. But, he didn’t. Most of his thoughts, his political ammunition, as it were, were carefully manufactured for him in advanced by the Council on Foreign Relations-One World Money group. Brilliantly, with great gusto, like a fine piece of artillery, he exploded that prepared “ammunition” in the middle of an unsuspecting target, the American people, and thus paid off and returned his internationalist political support.
.
“The UN is but a long-range, international banking apparatus clearly set up for financial and economic profit by a small group of powerful One-World revolutionaries, hungry for profit and power. “The depression was the calculated ‘shearing’ of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market....The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.” Curtis Dall, FDR’s son-in-law as quoted in his book, My Exploited Father-in-Law
.
34.”The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” A letter written by FDR to Colonel House, November 21st, l933

39.”The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical.
.
What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nationstates involved. As managers and creators of the system ,they will rule the future.” U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater in his l964 book: With No Apologies.

40.”The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences.
.
The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds’ central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.” Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World in Our Time (Macmillan Company, 1966,) Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University, highly esteemed by his former student, William Jefferson Blythe Clinton.

Rush surmised today that Rick had done his best to strike a deal with Newt, but Newt would have none of it. This is a likely scenario in my opinion, Because it seems Newt has made this personal, I guess we shall soon see.

I said way back when we had nine candidates that now of those nine would ever be president, I think that will prove to be the case.

The DOPe has spoken, now we shall.

Said "Amen!" to this and admired how well it was said:

imho, God is illustrating that TRUSTING IN ANYTHING, ANY INDIVIDUAL, ANY GROUP, ANY GOVERNMENT MORE THAN TRUSTING IN HIM . . . IS DOOMED TO FAILURE AND GROSS EVIL.

Yes indeed. Amen. And then I read:

THEREFORE, Personally, I’d appreciate your ideas for “therefore what”—particularly in terms of November.

Since you ask ... !!! ;^) ...

THEREFORE what I will do if it's Romney v Obama, and what I think all of us who trust God more than we fear Obama should do, is to figuratively crawl over broken glass to vote third party SO THAT whichever taker-toward-evil wins, Obama or Romney, gets in with the smallest plurality possible -- to get in office weakened because a large majority of Americans voted AGAINST him. Our voting third party would help weaken the winner politically, and help his opposition gain in strength, a good thing whether it's Obama or Romney. It's the ONLY CHANCE we have of making any progress for conservatism.

Sitting at home and not voting at all, when you actually are opposed to BOTH candidates, will only favor whichever socialist wins. Your vote is a tool -- use it thoughtfully.

And it's a REAL tool, cynicism aside. Remember when Clinton squeaked in on 43%, how the fact that 57% of the votes were OPPOSED to him helped fuel a take-back of Congress so strong it was called the Republican Revolution?

I think the WORST case scenario would be Romney with any size plurality, even only 34%, because unlike Obama, a Romney win regardless would guaranteed make liberalism more powerful in both parties. Washington would interpret his win as Republican voters' approval of the GOP adopting the same stance as Democrats on ALL of the major liberal issues: nationalized health care, on-demand abortion, cap-and-trade energy and progress-killing regulation, liberal left activist judges (yes, Romney has a documented record of appointing them far more than of appointing Republicans, let alone conservatives), and the homosexual agenda.

IF Romney won, the Republican party would be castrated in terms of fighting liberalism on those issues.

Way, way, way too many moral folks who know the evil those liberal issues foment, are still willing to vote FOR Romney because they are more afraid of Obama than they are of God. God would, I think, frown on good people having so little faith in Him that they voted for an agent of everything they know is WRONG in the eyes of God.

The right thing, not surprisingly, would also give us our best chance to help set things right. Vote ABOOR (Anybody But Obama Or Romney) because we have faith that rejecting what is evil (abortion and pitching homosexuality to kids, for example -- ROMNEY has certainly done a lot to promote both when he was Governor, which makes him OFF THE TABLE completely for me in terms of a vote) is always the best path. Wrong is wrong whether it is Republican or Democrat.

Vote for a liberal, reap liberalism and the evils that go with it. It's plain and simple. Conservatives voting for Romney because of blind fear of Obama, are knowlingly advocating a deal with the devil, and dealing with the devil is ALWAYS a losing proposition.

I'd rather conservatives make a deal with God: we won't vote for either one of these losers who spit in Your eye, and perhaps You will help us to triumph.

God is watching, and I believe in my heart that if he saw our faith, that we would risk even another four years of Obama rather than vote FOR an agent of depravity like Romney ... well, I think God would be more inclined to work one of His miracles and help us, and it would be that much easier for Him if Obama won with a piddly 34%. IMAGINE!! That would seriously damage Obama's political viability and credibiltiy, and it WOULD ALSO be a powerful blow to the GOP E trying to push the party left. The only way to keep leftist liberal Republicans from taking over the GOP is to vote such that they LOSE.

The right, smartest thing to do: vote ABOOR to dilute the plurality win to the lowest number. God helps those who help themselves. If we use our votes to debilitate Obama such that he's a president openly and officially opposed by 66% of the actual voters, we'll be doing what we can to help God help us.
