You’d think it’s obvious, but it apparently isn’t. Obama’s record is now long and it’s been incredibly destructive. Even a biased reading of Romney’s record is nowhere near that of Obama, and with Romney my second-to-last choice I will acknowledge he isn’t a great candidate. Still, with that said, it’s almost impossible to believe that people don’t see that.
I truly believe that a significant majority of the third-party types here are Obama plants. There’s no other logical explanation.
We knew, most just did not want to believe it.

I performed my act of resistance this afternoon. I sent in my 6th donation to Newt.
Newt is the ONE chance we have, right now, to right the GOP ship.
Newt’s “baggage” is a load of feathers compared to Willard’s.The number of Freepers on here who would rather throw in the towel, wail that it is all over, and sit out November to protect their “cherished principles”, rather than to get behind the best chance for our views to be recognized and promoted in 2012, is sickening.
The choice does not have to be Romney, or Obama.
There is still time for it to be Newt.
Newt is the last Conservative standing, and there is a small window of hope for us all. We need to take advantage of that.
And if that fails, then and only then we can look at each other and say we did everything we could.
Newt wasn’t my first choice, and he wasn’t the choice of many here.
After Sarah and Herman, Newt was it for me.And he looked like the Titanic 100 years ago—taking on water fast.He was going to be outspent and ignored, and the strongest candidate we have would be gone in short order.
But that was so before 2:30 pm today.
Now is a new political reality and we need to come to come to grips with it.
If Newt was OK a few months ago on here, why would he not be even MORE OK in the light of what has transpired today?
Newt means to go to Tampa, and I aim to help him.

It’s like there has been an Operation Chaos going on here throughout the primary process....
Amen to that. I have this pleasant dream in which, less than a year from now, after Romney is sworn in, Speaker Boehner and GOP Senate Majority Leader McConnell pull him aside and say, “You realize, Mr. President, that you work for us?” and that Romney replies, “Well, golly, what is it you want me to do?”
It’s sad that Santorum has suspended his campaign. I blame Gingrich 100%. Had he quit after Santorum’s famous one-day trifecta win in MO, CO, and MN, Romney would have lost in his hometown of MI and almost surely in OH. That massive momentum that Santorum would have gotten from those victories would have propelled him to the top. That said, I don’t think FR supporters of Gingrich had much or any influence. Gingrich was polling in single digits in MI and even as of now he vows to continue his quixotic campaign. I will vote for Romney if only because a second-term Obama is too horrible to behold especially with the lasting impact he could make by appointments to the lower federal court judiciary and the US Supreme Court. This is an election in which we cannot stand neutral and profess love for God and country at the same time.

I like Palin, DeMint and Pence and would have voted for any of them vs Romney but they have shown that they are not the leaders that many around here think/wish they were. Palin didn’t want to run, which is fine. It’s a huge decision and an incredible sacrifice but there was nothing keeping her from endorsing someone 6 months ago, 3 months ago, even as late as February. She had a chance to be kingmaker but chose not to. To me that was a terrible failure of leadership and the consequence is Mitt Romney.

I won’t vote for a guy with a proven record of being pro abortion, gun-control, gay-rights, and big governement solutions, despite what he says now that he is asking for my vote. No, Romney will not nominate a conservative. That is not the point.
The point is that Obama will nominate ideological communists like ACLU memberes and Green Party members and like the Progressive Caucus members. The BEST we can hope from Romney is that he nominates wishy washy RINOs to the SCOTUS.
I hope it is not lost on you that 3 new SCOTUS justices who are wishy washy RINOs is a better thing than 3 new Hard Communists on the SCOTUS.
The RINOs will bend and slash the Constitution. The hard Communists will join with Sortamywhore and Kagan to eliminate the Constitution.
Get ready for Posse Commitatus to go extinct. Get ready for the militia clause to color all new gun decisions by the SCOTUS. Get ready for God to be banished completely from schools and work. completely.
A hard communist dominiated SCOTUS will be dead serious and not just kidding around. They won’t be “well the Constitution is a living document”. They will absolutely decimate the US Constitution and guess what, their recorded rulings will then become Precident. The commie dominated lower courts will take the ball and run with it.
