To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

DJ, it doesn’t matter to these people. Just because a candidate has a proven record of governing against the GOP platform is no reason for them to think that unicorns with farie dust won’t suddenly appear and POOF! he will magically start doing so.

Isn’t it obvious? When Obama pushes gays on us and the military, that’s evil. When Romney does it, it’s ‘different’. Same for the rest of his record.

So if you don’t get in line and vote for everything you stand against, YOU are the problem. Because it’s a “Republican” you are voting for. Doesn’t matter that it’s the same agenda as the dems.

Simple really....

No need to dwell on the past. We all must come together now and get behind the GOP nominee Mitt Rommmm.....ah, forget that noise. How depressing.

At least there is a new episode of “Top Shot” on tonight.

I will be voting country over party in this election, and against Obama. Romney is many things, and is definitely not my first choice, but he has at least one redeeming feature... he isn’t Obama.

Plenty of people aren’t 0bomba but are still leftist pukes. Romney will lose anyway. Having Romney as the candidate is like having no candidate.

Once Obamacare is ruled unconstitutional (which it WILL be) Romney will not be able to institute a national healthcare scheme.

Wishful thinking I fear. They will not declare it unconstitutional, at most they may peel out the mandate which will not stop it.

Jim,
Thank you for being a principled conservtive. There is no way that I can support Romney he socialist sleaze bag. I really appreciate you making a home for true conservatives who arent willing to whore themselves out for party over principle.

That being said, I’ll be glad when you rid this place of the Romneybots and political whores. Let them find another site to whine about conservatives not supporting their gun grabbing baby killing socialist candidate.

Boot them. I would be happy to never have to read another post accusing me of supporting Obama, just because I don’t bow their brand of whoring.

FUMR!

I’m the one who supported the strongest not romney, not obama. I’m done here. :)

You want to push Romney, good luck, but you’ll do so on your own. I want no part of him or his policies. Never have.

He’s not going to beat Obama, and it will mean 4 more years.

“I truly believe that a significant majority of the third-party types here are Obama plants. There’s no other logical explanation”

There is a logical explanation... A significant majority of the folks here are conservatives not republicans.

I know this is a hard concept to understand, but I’ll try anyway. One of two people is going to be elected in November. It’s either going to be Obama, the single most radical leftist President we’ve ever had, or Mitt Romney, a moderate who’s changed positions a few times. Voting is not a difficult concept - you choose the candidate who best represents your views.

Apparently, however, lots of people here have stricter requirements for their Presidential candidates than they do for their spouses. This is why the concept of universal suffrage is a bad one - far and away, the individual voter is far too stupid to comprehend representative government.

“You cant possibly believe any of the conservative SC justices will step down if Obama is reelected.”

I most certainly do think that a conservative justice or two may leave in the next four years, regardless of who is president. Just look at Clarence Thomas- he is an elderly, overweight, black male. Whether Clarence is willing or not, God may “step him down”. I do NOT want Obama picking his replacement.

I don’t think Romney is quite as bad as he governed in Massachusetts. He is a whore, an appeaser. If giving Massachusetts voters what they want keeps him in power, then that is what he does.

I don’t think he is as bad as his record in Massachusetts. Just as I don’t think Perry was as good as his record in Texas. A lot of what Perry did good in Texas he was half-dragged to his conservative positions by the Texas legislature. I suspect idiot Romney was in the same sort of position, and was more reactive to the Masshole legislature than he was proactive to them.

My last California governor, Arnold, was much that way. He had a few pet projects and he was an arch-liberal environmentalist, which has been heavily damaging. But for the most part he was dragged to the left by the dominant leftwing legislature. If he had a Republican congress, he would have one better on the economy, would have implemented a spending cap and cut employee union influence in elections. He tried all those things through the ballot bu they all went down to defeat.

All of this is specualation. I only know one thing. Obama is a radical communist Muslim and it would be very difficult to find someone half as damaging as he is. I find it hard to believe that 4 years of idiot Romney does a fraction the permanent damage to our Republic as the lame-duck administration of Obama, now with political shackles lifted.

I am terrified by a 2nd Obama Administration. If he wins re-election, I am going to need couseling and heavy drinking to cope.

His hands.

Excellent post, the most intelligent on this thread, for “the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes.”

Our prayers are more important than our votes this year.

I will do both.

LOL!! Why would I vote for a Republican when I'm a conservative?

I'll vote my conscience and not out of fear. That's what's happening here. And that's what the elites are hoping for. Fear. You know it and I know it. The scaredy cats don't. Look how well "Anybody but Bush" worked for the left. Anyone but Obama won't work any better.

Romney can't beat Obama. What can he say? I backed cheaper abortions? I backed homosexual rights first? Romneycare is better than Obamacare?

That’s your choice and you are entitled to do so. But it’s an abandonment of everything that a conservative stands for by the definition of the word.

So lets say MR wins. In 4/8 years, the GOP=E fronts an even MORE left wing ‘Republican”. Do you vote for them too? And 4/8 later an even MORE left wing....

So at what point in this political experiment do you see an actual conservative being elected?

I really want to know. Do you believe there is EVER a time to stand for what you believe in? I do. That time is now.

No, the third party types are not at all plants. They are very disgruntled hard conservatives who have been lied to, spun, shafted, and made fools of for their entire voting lives.

They are just desperate to have representation because for the most part, conservatives have no representation. My entire life, I am 53, it has been socialist vs. socialist light.

No, people here are generally way to the right of the political spectrum. What you are seeing is just overwhelming frustration with no way to effect change or even to be heard.

The strategy of starving the GOP so as to make them work for our votes is a good one. I just don’t want to see Obama re-elected as a result.

I agree with them in one respect — there will never be a good time to rebel, go Galt, and starve the GOP to get their attention.

The last 3 Democrat presidents were all flaming leftist extemists — Carter, Clinton and Obama. The Democrats don’t seem capable of nominating anyone who isn’t to the left of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

What frustrates the life out of me is that never once do you hear the Dems say “well we can’t get Obama elected because he has the most liberal voting record in the Senate”.

The fact is, the voters give both parties their turns. We DON’T NEED RINOS to get our turn. We get our turn on a regular basis, so if we nominated hard Conservatives every time, then that is what we would have on our turn.

This election it is again our turn, because the economy has already doomed Obama. Even with the massive MSM spin, Obama is toast because the economy has already defeated him. All there is left is to run the commercials of doubled gas prices and Obama himself saying “if I can’t fix the economy in one term, I don’t deserve a second term”. Man, I would run his video clip 24/7 right up to election day!

But point is, no these people here care and desperately want the limited government a conservative should fight for. They are just frustrated is all. We ALL are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They've been desperately trying fear tactics, but now they're escalating to insults and denigration. Makes you wonder how they can be so excited about their boy Romney if that's the best they can come up with.

Your vote is your choice.

I've made my choice already. I will vote against Obama AND Romney.

A vote for either one of these Liberals is a vote against Conservatism. I have decided I will not compromise on all of my core values.

Justice Thomas is 62..elderly for you maybe but only a year younger than Mitt...which obviously means Mitt is also to old for the job.

If you have watched the court for anytime at all you would know SC justices do not step down when the party that appointed them is out of office.
