And the Un-Masking of Mitt Romney, the left-wing, Progressive Liberal, continues . . .

Not sure if the country can handle 4 more years of that.

We need to make sure we win enough seats in both houses with Conservative candidates that we drag Romney kicking and screaming through the next 4 years.

NO sir. The base DID NOT pick Romney. The primary process is a corrupt and cynical attempt to fool the bubbas into thinking they have a voice in party matters.

the conservative base will have chosen

If Ubama wins we won't have souls anymore.

The government will own them, just like it owns our bodies and can force us to pay for upkeep and maintenance on them.

If Romney wins this election, we of the tea party attitude need to become the biggest pains in the ass the GOP have ever experienced. We gave them the 2010 election victory and they shunned us. The GOP-E needs to rue that day.

It’s time to start a new party to compete with the DC Establishment. We need a party that actually believes in our Founding Fathers, our Founding Documents and in God Almighty!

The primary process is a corrupt and cynical attempt to fool the bubbas into thinking they have a voice in party matters.

Wrong, people voted, they voted for Romney, even a majority portion of Tea Party folks voted for him, that's a fact, are they dumb, ya, but the system isn't fixed. The people are stupid and lazy and really don't understand or take the time to study the political situation. The system is not fixed, what is happening is that the majority of Americans are proving they were not worth the price our military forces paid for them, they deserve neither liberty or freedom, and thus they, and we, are going to lose both ...

That's the absolutely crucial thing now...we *must* control the legislative process to counter Obamao's rule by executive order and cabinet "czars."

I've now given up any hope of winning the Presidency. As the author of this piece says, a more beatable candidate than Romney could not have been designed by the Democrats themselves. We've just handed ZerO and his fellow totalitarians another 4 years to do their worst. If we don't have the the legislative muscle to fight back, game over.

The party(ies) you’re looking for basically already exist in the form of the Libertarian or the U.S. Constitution Party. Having said that, I believe the ballot box has become a worthless lost cause regardless of party.

Correct that a majority of primary voters voted for him. The last time I looked at the cumulative exit polls, the statement about the majority of the TEA Party is incorrect. There were a few exceptions, like Michigan where it was close, among the contested states. But overall, Romney was not the first choice of TEA Party people.

Obama is a pure evil communist. Romney is a spineless liberal masquerading as a republican. With Obama in office we go straight down the road to oblivion. With Romney in office we get a guy that might be pointed in a better direction if we can get the congress and senate.

Without a miracle, we are stuck with Romney. This sucks. This sucks big but it is what we have. I can’t believe this is how we go into the biggest election battle defending the future of our nation. We have Zapp Brannigan (Futurama) and we need Gen Patton. I will vote Romney, just are I voted for Bush 41, Bob Dole and John McCain.... with my nose pulled as I pulled the lever and a fist full of Tums afterwards. I cannot in good conscience give Obama and the communist a single extra vote because I voted 3rd party or not at all. I will deal with the Romney aftermath when it comes. It can’t be as bad as what Obama has already done to us.

If the choice is between Romney and Obama, we must vote Romney. Hell, if the choice was between a shih tzu and Obama, I’d vote for the shih tzu. We don’t like Romney... but are we willing to see Obama relected to finsh what he has already started? This nation will not survive another 4 years with him. 2016 won’t matter. Elect conservatives to the house and senate. Elect Romney and hold him accountable. Sitting it out or voting 3rd party or writing in Sarah Palin will just make the reelection of Obama that much more likely. Go ahead and flame me, but I will not vote for Obama and will not vote in a way that helps Obama. When I cast my ballot in November, it will be AGAINST Obama more so than for Romney, but Romney will get my vote.

Remember that TARP was Bush's, prescription drug was Bush's. Romney can do a LOT of damage over 8 years.

Either way, the GOP has shown to me that it is no longer a party of conservatives. In fact, with the Romney nomination, the GOP elites have told me that they no longer want to represent my views, and that they no longer want me in the party. Time for me to go elsewhere.

Yes, Romney can do a lot of damage. Obama can do much much more. As I said, this sucks. We are between a rock and a hard place with this election. Romney should never have been able to get this far. It’s like a bad dream. Having said that, Obama is much worse.

Is the answer to over through the GOP elites? I know it NY it would be a good start. They have been a complete failure here. Given that Romney has been hoisted to the top of the list I can say the rest of the GOP orgs in the state are in need of purging too.

I don’t know the answer but this road isn’t taking us to a good place.

Sounds like you already have.

because the abomination that is the Obama Administration has got to go! Or we lose The Republic!

Frankly I think that our nation is strong enough to survive either Obama or Romney. Mitt Romney is not the solution to our decaying nation and it is debatable based on his record (not his flexible rhetoric)whether he is even a marginal improvement over Obama.
