SANFORD, Fla. - The attorney for the family of Trayvon Martin, the teen who was shot and killed by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman, says the family is worried after the announcement of Zimmerman's attorney's stepping down.

Benjamin Crump said the family was shocked when they heard the news on Tuesday that Hal Uhrig and Craig Sonner were stepping down from the case because they couldn't get a hold of Zimmerman.

"His lawyers just told the world. That is a great concern to Trayvon Martin's parents -- whether he's going to try to avoid facing charges of killing their son," Crump said.

Crump added that the family was hopeful special prosecutor Angela Corey's decision on Monday not to use a grand jury was made because she has enough evidence to make a decision without one. But Crump said the family is more worried that Zimmerman won't be found now.

Found?! and have what happen? Grabbed by the New Black Panther mob? Can’t they have the trial with a proxy?

The New Black Panther's dead or alive bounty probably doesn't have a thing to do with Zimmerman's disappearance.

Looks lhe Martin family hired themselves a real genius.

How are sales of Momma Trayvon's clothing line going?

Has she made her first million dollars yet?

Well if he is not found, what would happen to the big media extravaganza cirsus? the parade of satelite TV trucks in front of the courthouse? Z’s home? Travon’s home? anywhere in Saanford FL? Sharpton’s mouf? Huh? You mean our highest ratings wet dream ever could be crushed? like the frost crushed the fruit trees?

If they can’t get George into a long, drawn out, televised trial, hoodie sales could go in the toilet pretty dang quick.

I wouldn’t blame Zimmerman if he decided he would never be found. There is no way this man could ever get a fair trial or be treated fair in this country or anywhere else.

awho would want to defend him? Who would want to be on his jury? Who would want to speak in his favor anywhere at any time?

Nobody wants the target on them for the rest of their life.

Justice and the law is dead in America. I have never been so ashamed of this country as I am now.

whether he's going to try to avoid facing charges of killing their son

Charged by whom? He's a free man of color. He can do whatever he wants!

She is afraid everyone will forget about her son so her shirts and other items will not be worth anything..Give it a rest woman you will be the cause of others getting hurt and I don’t mean Zimmerman..In my opinions you are already the cause of whites being hurt...Whites should make sure they are carrying their gun ever place..

I sincerely hope the poor kid has fled this country and never returns. Obama et al, had set him up to be the first highly publicized victim of the new black mob mentality.

In Florida, a civil suit for damages/wrongful death is not permitted unless the person responsible for the death has been arrested.

That is why the Martin’s lawyer has tried to make a big deal out of getting Zimmerman arrested. Until then, he is dead in the water, working pro-bono. After arrest, he can sue Zimmerman, the Gated Community, and the city of Sanford, perhaps even the state. After arrest the deep pockets open for him like the Red Sea did for Moses and the Israelites, and he can be enough of a pest so that they will pay him to go away.

Its all about the billable hours. I understand that hundreds of lawyers die every year because ambulances have functioning brakes.

I hope he finds some way to go on. He sure isn’t going to get justice or a fair trial here.

There is no way this man could be treated fairly in the US.

<>Maybe he went to Peru.

I was thinking likewise. A possible strategy is for his family to secret him out of the US to a safe haven country and claim political asylum or similar. That sure would be a black eye on the US.

Well, the criminal defense lawyers probably realized that since charges would not be filed, their services won’t be needed.

"a safe haven country"

Do you mean a country without a US extradition treaty? Like Venezuela?

“Trayvon Martin’s family worried George Zimmerman won’t be found”

Why? Were they going to trademark him also?
