Jim Rob Is Right - But Conservatives Here Have TWO Jobs To Do!

First - blow off that feeling that we're going to lose, or already have lost! No, we're going to WIN.

First item of business, get invovlved in the Tea Party movement, and give D.C. a whole new influx of conservatives in Congress similar in size and importance to that of the last election - thereby blocking any of Obamas chances of having Congressional support for his machinations. Note too, the Tea Party used the GOP vehicle, not a third party. Reason, third parties are losers, because they don't have the national organization and presence large enough to compete.

FReepers need to get involved locally. There are tens of thousands of empty seats in local district Committees of the GOP across this nation - caused mostly by conservative appathy! Just by showing up regularly, you can be assured of gaining a seat from which you can VOTE - go to your county committees and vote there - and go to your state party conventions and vote there! (I personally helped see the ouster of liberal GOP control of the California GOP. Yes it was hard work, but we won - and that win has been, and can be duplicated in these perilous times through the 'hard work' of just SHOWING UP!)

Conservatives have a chance to block Obama, if not replace him. We CAN do that, but conservatives can not win by voting third-party - it's a throw-away vote that nets nothing.

The current GOP-E is NOT the friend of FREEDOM - but they are a very tiny group of RINO's that we can beat the snot out of - simply by doing what we can at the local district and state level. We - FReepers, and other dedicated conservatives - can and have ultimately fielded who becomes part of the GOP establishment. We need to OWN it like we did in the Reagan era, not destroy it through lack of attention to our God given orders to be 'watchmen on the wall' of who become our leaders.

No - it's not too late to shoulder your own responsibility - and earn your own right to say, 'I have fought the good fight, and WE WON.' There will be many opportunities in coming days to 'get involved' - don't let them slip by. Take advantage of the huge opportunities - you can, and will make a difference! It is quite fulfilling to debate hated RINO's FACE TO FACE - WIN when the vote is tallied - and see them denied a seat in party or public office!

Last but not least - we ALL need to get behind our Freepathon. Isn't it worth at least a dollar per day to you to come here, read, post, laugh and debate? Yes, I know, times are rough, and the 'cost of living' has gone way up. But, I'll bet you blow a lot on chocolate cake and ice cream or (insert your favorite deserts) - I, unfortunately, do! So let's all try to push this FReepathon toward an early completion - it might help save your waistline! LOL

I agree. I heard that many conservatives will vote for Obama rather than Romney.

“If Romney sweeps those five (including NY and PA) and gobbles up all of the delegates then what?”

THEN y a decision is needed to be made. NOT until THEN as the overall picture at the time will be required reading.

Stuff happens, and happens quickly during election events. Nothing is static.

From http://rightwingnews.com/john-hawkins/the-co-founder-of-notmittromney-coms-reaction-to-mitt-sewing-up-the-nomination/ , here's the heart of the argument:

"Whatever the case may be, Obama is throwing the country off of a cliff and when you’re plunging into a bottomless chasm, you can’t get too picky about which branch you grab on the way down."

If Romney wins, it will be difficult but at least I'd have the chance to climb back up from that cliff, fighting him every inch of the way.

“You only throw away your vote when you vote for what you don’t believe in. A vote for RINOs is a wasted vote. You may as well vote Democrat.”

No. You throw away your vote when you don’t vote, or vote for someone who has literally 0% chance of winning, thereby denying your vote to someone who DOES.

I will never vote for Mitt Romney. Let the GOP suffer the wages of their nefarious , elitist work.
Four more years of Obama? Thats what you get even if Mitt Romney is elected president.

They way I see it, its better to have Obama, and at least you have the real national socialist, liberal fascist target. Romney is just a foil for the liberal fascist movement of Obama.

The GOP had the opportunity to invite a real adversary to Obama’s nationalist socialism. Instead the RINO GOPers stuck their heads in the sand, and decided to promote the myth that Obama is not UnAmerica, and NOT unqualified pursuant to Article II of the consitution , and NOT a liberal fascist. Doom on them.

The GOP is now sounding its own death nell as a party. Many conservatives will vote for Obama just out of spite, and the GOP deserves it for what they have done.Welcome to the Nationalist Socialist Republic of the United States of America as it morphs into a dictatorship.

Thank you Rick Santorum, and thank you Newt Gingrich for trying.Watch the migration of the wealthy and their capital off shore.Watch our nation turn into something like Zimbabwe, under the tender mercies of the US version of Robert Mugabe.

Romney is not going to win against Obama.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that Romney was and is the CHOSEN opponent Obama and the media WANTED Obama to run against.

A Romney candidate in November guarantees a win for Obama, that is what the ruling class are happy with and set up to happen.

As I said, this will be a repeat of 2008 with the absolute weakest candidate foisted on us. It’s a shell game and so many want to continue to play it to continue the illusion that this whole Cook County Thuggery is just a bad dream.

I cannot believe how many folks still cling to the belief that this election cycle was anything but rigged to marginalize and finally eliminate Conservatives from any political influence in future “elections”.

Through subterfuge and treason from within, Conservatives have already been stabbed in the back with a poison knife by traitors cloaked as Conservatives, and now you are forced to vote for a man chosen for you by the Ruling Class who engineered the treachery to begin with.

I think a lot will happen between now and the election. I don’t think he can handle it, nor can his handlers. It could be anything from a personal public meltdown to the dems supporting impeachment.

As Time passes, I’m inclined to see meltdown in his future. When the SCOTUS throws out obamacare, it could set things in motion. Heck, the birther thing finally reaching critical mass could. Or the collapse in europe, or Israel attacking Iran.

But I do expect this to be a big year. He is not capable of handling big things.

I took my action in late October of 2008. I’m not all that concerned who the president is, especially considering the choices we have.

—What about the captain that flees on his own before the sinking, like the captain of the Costa Concordia?—

That would not work as an analogy to this. The ship has hit the iceberg and is going down. Heck, it hit the iceberg before obama was elected. Remember QE1. Remember the “emergency” meeting of Congress back then that some revealed scared the crap out of them.

They have effectively kicked the can down the road a few times, but they are running out of kicks.

I do think there is one genuine positive with Romney: he’s truly worried about China. He is probably for revising our disastrous trade regime with the Chicoms.

Obama is dismantling our military. He is making all sorts of dangerous deals with the Russians on nukes and missile defense. I don't know if Romney can or would reverse this trend, but I would think, or hope, that he would at least pull back from the self-destroying course Obama has the country on. The Russians, the ChiComs, Hugo Chavez, Iran and Obama have designs for a "new world order" with a substantially weaker USA.

We are creating a new world, a balanced world. A new world order, a multipolar world,” Chavez told reporters during a visit to Communist China, one of many. His “new world order” includes [RUSSIA], China, Iran,... and a significantly weakened United States, he explained.

Obama Pledges Cuts in Missile Defense, Space, and Nuclear Weapons Programs

February 29, 2008 :: News
MissileThreat.com

A video has surfaced of Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama talking on his plans for strategic issues such as nuclear weapons and missile defense.

The full text from the video, as released, reads as follows:

Thanks so much for the Caucus4Priorities, for the great work you've been doing. As president, I will end misguided defense policies and stand with Caucus4Priorities in fighting special interests in Washington.

First, I'll stop spending $9 billion a month in Iraq. I'm the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning. And as president I will end it.[not win it -etl]

Second, I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending.

I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.

I will not weaponize space.

I will slow our development of future combat systems.

And I will institute an independent "Defense Priorities Board" to ensure that the Quadrennial Defense Review is not used to justify unnecessary spending.

Third, I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop new nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert [they are NOT on "hair-trigger alert" now -etl], and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.

You know where I stand. I've fought for open, ethical and accountable government my entire public life. I don't switch positions or make promises that can't be kept. I don't posture on defense policy and I don't take money from federal lobbyists for powerful defense contractors. As president, my sole priority for defense spending will be protecting the American people. Thanks so much.

2008 Pentagon Report (March 2008):
China's Growing Military Space Power

By Leonard David
Special Correspondent, SPACE.com
March 6, 2008

GOLDEN, Colorado — A just-released Pentagon report spotlights a growing U.S. military concern that China is developing a multi- dimensional program to limit or prevent the use of space-based assets by its potential adversaries during times of crisis or conflict.

Furthermore, last year's successful test by China of a direct-ascent, anti-satellite (ASAT) weapon to destroy its own defunct weather satellite, the report adds, underscores that country's expansion from the land, air, and sea dimensions of the traditional battlefield into the space and cyber-space domains.

Although China's commercial space program has utility for non- military research, that capability demonstrates space launch and control know-how that have direct military application. Even the Chang'e 1 — the Chinese lunar probe now circling the Moon — is flagged in the report as showcasing China's ability "to conduct complicated space maneuvers — a capability which has broad implications for military counterspace operations."

Obama To Betray Missile Defense Secrets To Moscow
Investor's Business Daily ^ | January 9, 2012 | IBD staff

Appeasement: From ObamaCare to recess appointments, honoring the Constitution has not been an administration hallmark. But when it comes to betraying secrets to mollify the Russians, it becomes a document the president hides behind.

It was bad enough that the 2012 defense authorization bill signed by President Obama set America on a downward spiral of military mediocrity.

He also issued a signing statement, something he once opposed, saying that language in the bill aimed at protecting top-secret technical data on the U.S. Standard Missile-3 — linchpin of our missile defense — might impinge on his constitutional foreign-policy authority.

Section 1227 of the defense law prohibits spending any funds that would be used to give Russian officials access to sensitive missile-defense technology as part of a cooperation agreement without first sending Congress a report identifying the specific secrets, how they'd be used and steps to protect the data from compromise.

The president is required to certify that any technology shared will not be passed on to third parties such as China, North Korea or Iran, that the Russians will not use transferred secrets to develop countermeasures and that the Russians are reciprocating in sharing missile-defense technology.

Interesting. I believe that God judges us on our acts; this idea that believing in God or Jesus renders forgiveness makes no sense at all. We have to fight evil when it crosses our path; it’s our duty.

I will do everything possible to end Obama’s evil acts upon this nation. You, I see, don’t agree with me. We have a choice. Don’t let your over-inflated ego get in your way of ending Obama’s reign. Read Michelle Malkin’s column today. More forces are at work than you may know. The stakes are tremendous and you’ve misidentified the enemy.

By the way, I’m a Palin fan. I’m disappointed as well. But my patriotism comes first, not my ego.

I completely agree. My vote in November will be a third party or write-in protest vote.

We have three overriding problems in this country (well, the whole western world to be more precise) that are responsible for our political dilemma:

1. The central power structures of government and finance have been completely taken over by a Political super-class which is a modern interpretation of the absolute power of royalty. Our "two-party" system is a farce used to fool the rest of us into thinking we have a choice in our government. We do not.

2. After a couple of generations, this political elite has successfully bred a substantial percentage of the population who are perfectly content to live their lives as ignorant subjects (as opposed to citizens) so long as they are "taken care of". This destroys the ability of the remaining free-thinking population to change things via democratic means.

3. Even the remaining free-thinkers of various "conservative" principles are too deeply divided to form a significant resistance. Half of this conservative superset focuses primarily on religious and socially conservative issues, while the other half focuses on personal liberty and fiscal conservatism. A candidate who appeals to one subset turns off the other.

I'm sure the collapse of society during the waning days of the Roman Empire wasn't pretty. I guess we'll all get to see what the collapse of this modern Western civilization is going to be like, because I just don't see a popular will to avoid it.

God help us all if some of you so call conservative vote for Obama.
