This Level Headed FReeper is *NOT* voting for Romney (VANITY)

Posted on 04/10/2012 6:20:28 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

With all of the chicanery that the GOP-E has done over the last year, and helped the media to do over the last year, there's NO WAY I'm surrendering to these creeps.

Romney is *NOT* our candidate! He's their candidate, we're NOT REPUBLICANS! We are conservatives and constitutionalists FIRST. We believe in small government! Not this big government crap that Romney has peddled for the better half of the last decade or two, and I certainly can't do any more nose holding at the ballot box.

Voting for a big government republican is the real world equivalent of cutting off my nose to spite my face. That I refuse to do.

Reforming the GOP into a small government conservative party doesn't just mean voting for the right tea partiers at the right time. It means refusing to vote for the wrong big government republicans at the wrong time. We need to starve the beast of votes. We need to teach the republican party that if they have any shot at electoral success in the future, they only have one viable path. Bold colors BOLD COLORS BOLD COLORS

Obama is the candidate of both parties. I won’t vote for a major party candidate unless it turns out the Republicans manage to nominate somehow someone other than Obamney. We desperately need to beat Obama(Dem version) but electing Obamaclone is NOT beating Obama. It is setting the kenyan’s gains in stone and enhancing them. It is welding the shackles that the kenyan has wrought.

Newt would be my first choice. Nonetheless I believe either Newt or Romney could win this thing and either would be a gigantic improvement over Obunga. Near as I can tell, Obunga’s basic plan is to take this country down, and I just don’t see anything like that anywhere in the GOP.

“Then we can support Obama instead and get a 5th and 6th Communist appointed to the Supreme Court,”

As opposed to Romney’s judicial picks??

Your dissection is keen and accurate. Everything is circumspect...except for your first and misleading and accusatory judgement: “No, you’re just deluded.”

What if the poster is spot on and you are choosing to miss the point of the fantastical story? What if the point is worthy of being made and the poster is not deluded?

What does that do to your neat dissection that followed?

Come back and say that on 11/5/12.

Say what? In November the president will not have changed. between faux Obama and real Obama the Left will vote for the real one. A large part of the Right will watch ESPN.

Vote for Romney and you are supporting the kenyan about as much as voting for the kenyan himself. At the least to vote for Romney is to put one’s satisfied signature to totalitarian socialism by betraying the opposition to socialism. If Republicans and Democrats all vote for socialism what is left? A vote for Romney is official approval of kenyan socialism.

If you live in a deep-blue state, e.g., CA, NY, then you can vote for who ever you please as it won’t make a difference. But, you can still donate effectively as that method of support knows no bounds. On the other hand, if you live in a GW Bush 2004 state that went into the 0bama column in 2008, then you have the duty. 0bama must be defeated; take one for the team.

Palin may say it, but no way does she believe it.

A vote for Obama is a vote for leftwing government.

A vote for Romney is a vote for leftwing government.

They both hate conservatives, and both of their political parties actively work together to defeat the likes of Sarah Palin.

She knows this, and she also knows (along with her husband) that the GOP is dead.

“My FRiend. Do you not realize that Mister Obama, in a second (and “flexible”) term will...

- separate you from your firearms,

- separate you from your property and wealth,”

Let me ‘splain something to you:

They are NOT going to get our guns because we WON’T give them to them.

The day they start trying to take them is the day the war starts.

I am deadly serious about this. Just WHY do you think firearm sales have skyrocketed for the past three years? Do you really think people are stocking up so they can meekly hand them over to the Obama regime? Think about that for a little while.

And as far as getting our property: See above.

As I have said many ways many times, both Romney and Obama are unconscionably vile men, and I will vote for neither. My analogy to demons was an attempt to simplify it so that even a credulous party serf could understand.

A pox on both of the abortionist, statist vermin and all who have assisted their ascent to power.

Romney has been a liberal like his Alinkyite daddy (his idol and mentor) all his political career until he started running for President. then he started trying to sound conservative, but not doing it very well. He’ll flop back now that he thinks he has it sewn up. Etch-a-Sketch.

We all have our ideas about the situation we as a Country will face in the future.

You Vanity Post was your opinion and my response to it was mine.

Even thought my reply was to you, it was meant to convey my general viewpoint on the issue of supporting the Republican Candidate that will be chosen to go against Pharaoh Obama. If that ends up being Governor Romney, I go with the Mark Levin philosophy where an Orange Juice Can is preferable to the current Commie who occupies the Office of President.

You do what you feel is best as I will. I thank goodness that we have this Forum to share our ideas, but as I always say, sometimes it feels like preaching to the Choir while the Pews are empty. At the very least, it gives us a way to vent after we realize that many of our fellow Citizens have no clue what is happening around them. I wish you the best.

Not to forget, with another Obama term, a likely SCOTUS opportunity, more czars, more executive orders...

It’s sea change coming to America with another Obama term.

I think what you fail to see is that they ALREADY wrote us off.

Anyone here who refuses to vote for Romney because he just isn’t perfect in your little fantasy worlds is allowing Obama to get a second term.

You are not principled, you are stupid. In fact worse than that, you are essentially traitors to your country.

If you are whining about abortion and that is your ONLY issue and you will not vote for anyone who does not perfectly agree with your pet issue then you need to gtfo of this country and go somewhere were you can create your own little utopia.

Let me be absolutely clear: You are acting like a child. This is the same attitude that gave us a Democrat controlled Federal government in the first place. YOUR actions are the reason that we are hanging on the precipice with Obamacare at the Supreme Court. YOUR actions are why we are facing trillions and trillions of dollars in debt. YOUR actions are why gas is $4 a gallon. YOUR actions are why unemployment is on the exciting side of 8 percent.

Grow up.
